Poke Bros. — Restaurant in Marple Township

Very bad experience, the lady behind the counter was coughing, without covering her mouth. She made me a custom bowl, with salmon and tuna, but the tuna had a strange texture and wasn't fresh. I asked for a refund and brought the entire bowl back almost untouched and explained that the food didn't taste fresh and asked for a refund. The lady behind the counter argued and yelled while I remained calm and explained that I didn't want to argue, I just didn't feel comfortable eating food that didn't taste fresh and I didn't want to get sick. She then told me to eat the food and bring her the hospital bill to pay if I got sick, which was very upsetting and unprofessional. If you like Poke, this place is great! They are new to the neighborhood in Marple Crossroads Shopping Center so we decided to check them out. They have quite a few standard options - you can just order a bowl, or you can make your own. We did one of each. I had the Duke which included salmon, tuna and shrimp. They have a great selection of toppings. My wife did the make your own and we were both very happy. There are some good options, in that you have a protein to pick, several different toppings, and seasonings/sauces. There are tofu and chicken options as well, so there might be something there for everyone! There's ample parking with wheelchair parking and access due to it being in the shopping center. They gave me something I didn’t order but, what a pleasant surprise! Maybe because I don’t really know how to customize “already established menu items” but I’m stuffed and happy so nothing to complain about. :) Poke is a substantial serving and all ingredients were fresh. Fairly priced (paid $33 but that is including drink, Uber fees, and driver tip) and super tasty. If you are not a seaweed fan (one ingredient I asked to remove from order but still added) fair warning: it comes with a lot of it. I ended up mixing it with the rest and that did the trick.
