Easily my least favorite stadium Iโve ever been to. I have twin toddlers and I was suggested the kids area so I took them so my husband could enjoy the game. The first thing all 3 of us saw was a large soft play set up and immediately my girls were excited and wanted to play. I am use to these soft play area allowing adults so I didnโt think much when my girls ran up it because I could chase after themโฆ.NOT the case at Busch Stadium. I refrained from chasing them until one was out of my site and I started to panic. I was told shortly after my girls shot up this play set there is another section where you can actually see your child the whole time. I took off my shoes to go get my child (one was heading down a slide at this point) and before I stepped foot on the pad and I was approached by an employee and informed me (with a rude tone) I was not able to climb on it. I then asked her (in a panicked voice) if she was going to get my kid then and she accused me of yelling at her, I never raised my voice. I promptly grabbed my 2 girls and went to the small kid area. For the record, my children have been on play sets similar to the larger ones and they do great but we are responsible parents so we watch them the entire time which is never an issue, except at Busch Stadium evidently. So we are in the smaller children area and I begin to catch my breath but Iโm still on the verge of a panic attack. There are only a few areas where you canโt see your children on this one and I was trying to watch one of my little girls when I was approached yet again and was informed that my child has to wear sock, her socks were only off for a little bit and I couldnโt find the other sock. So while I am trying to get my child with the socks situated my donโt see my other little girl and I get concerned and the employee laughs at me. I promptly told him itโs not funny. I grabbed my 2 children and I left while both of them were in tears and I was having a full blown panic attack. I found my husband and we left the game. It was honestly a nightmare and I will never be returning to...
ย ย ย Read moreNew Busch Stadium has gone downhill. Set aside all of the ways that MLB has ruined the game of baseball in recent years: The stadium experience itself, at least in section 267 on Sunday, April 27, 2025, has taken a major turn for the worse.
On the plus side: Several of the employees were polite and helpful, and one employee went out of her way to be helpful and to point us in the right direction. The view is wonderful (of the game and of downtown), even from the cheaper seats.
On the minus side: Some (but not all) concession employees were unhelpful or hard to understand. Food options near our seats were very limited. The stadium web site lists many wonderful-sounding food options, but all we could find near our seats was standard ballpark fare. Food items were already prepared, so that you would just grab a pre-made meal, and then pay for it. Sounds convenient, but who knows how long that food had been sitting there. And if you want something that's not currently prepared, you're out of luck. Concession stand was entirely self-serve, including self-checkout, yet the checkout screen wanted me to add a 15% or 20% tip. Who is the tip for -- the computer??? I saw a roving food or beer vendor walking near our seats only one time during the entire game. MLB is fine with shortening the game via the pitch clock, but heaven forbid you should stick around for 15 minutes after the game to take a few photos, to talk with extended family who you haven't seen in months, or to go to the bathroom. The ushers will politely but firmly hurry you out of the stadium.
Bottom line: This Sunday afternoon game, which in most years would have been packed, was sparsely attended. And the customer service was clearly scaled back to match the low attendance level. But here's the problem: We're the fans who actually paid and showed up, and you thanked us by giving us a second-rate experience. That's not going to help your future...
ย ย ย Read moreAbsolutely loved our visit to Busch Stadium in St. Louis! This ballpark is truly one of the gems of Major League Baseball. The views from the stadium are stunning, especially with the Gateway Arch framing the city skyline in the backgroundโan iconic sight that adds something extra special to the game-day experience.
The atmosphere inside the ballpark was electric from start to finish. Cardinals fans are passionate and welcoming, and the excitement in the air was contagious. Thereโs just something about watching a game here that feels bigger, more alive.
Food options were another highlightโso many choices throughout the stadium that it was hard to decide what to try first. From classic ballpark fare to local St. Louis specialties, thereโs something for everyone.
The only downside was the heatโit was nearly unbearable at times, but thatโs summer in the Midwest for you. Luckily, there are shaded spots and cool drinks to help take the edge off.
After the game, the fun didnโt stop! As part of Busch Stadiumโs summer concert series, we were treated to a free Flo Rida concert right on the fieldโa fantastic bonus to an already great night.
Another big plus was our stay at the Live! by Loews hotel. You couldnโt ask for a more convenient locationโitโs literally steps from the ballpark, making it incredibly easy to get to and from the game.
Overall, Busch Stadium is a must-visit for any baseball fan. Beautiful views, an electric vibe, great food, and bonus entertainment made it an unforgettable experience. Canโt...
