Visited for a daily Mass. Our family visited St Louis for a week and stayed down-town by the arch. Wonderful access to the sacraments—confession and Mass available every day! Reverent novus ordo Mass. Parishioners are respectful, quiet and prayerful (many made good thanksgiving after Mass), and friendly. All took the Eucharist seriously. Receiving the Eucharist standing and in the hand is the norm, however Father did not balk when visitors knelt to receive Our Lord on the tongue. Early Mass was 17 min (?!) long.
Also visited the New Cathedral (excellent) and St Francis de Sales (magnificent! Transcendent!). Definitely make time for those as well if you are visiting St...

A MONTH AGO THE HEAVYSET GUARD SAT NEAR THE CONFESSIONAL, AND WHEN I WALKED OUT THE OLDER GUARD QUESTIONED WHY I WAS IN THE CONFESSIONAL SO LONG AND WHY I SPOKE TO THE DEACON, AND STATED HE KNEW EVERYONE WHO WALKS IN THE CATHEDRAL, IMPOSSIBLE UNLESS YOU ARE GOD OR SATAN . WELL, HES UNGODLY, HE SCARED ME I WALKED OUT AND WENT TO MASS ELSEWHERE . I have spoken to others and the same thing occurred to them, as well. WE ARE IN A WARFARE AGAINST CATHOLICS, AND THE UNGODLY ARE ATTACKING US I CAN'T GET HELP FROM NOT ONE PRIEST. THIS IS A SPIRITUAL WARFARE BATTLE...

This is a Church building whose interior and exterior architecture gives honor and glory to God through the display of handicraft of the marble statues, the wooden pews, the fine materials used to cover the Sanctuary chairs.
