LiL Chick & Pizza Chick LLC — Restaurant in Stock Island

We were staying at Boyds. It was getting later in the evening and Roostica had already closed the kitchen. We found this place close by and it was still open because they're hours are 4:20pm - 4:20am. This was all too appropriate for our situation. We placed our order through Uber Eats and it said it would be ready in 25 minutes. It was a 5 minute so we waited about 15 minutes and started walking. Upon arrival, I saw a sign but still wasn't sure if I was in the right place. I felt like I was walking into someone's backyard. We slowly proceeded into the space until we saw someone assembling a pizza in an enclosed food service trailer. It looked like she had just started and so we just waited. We probably would have had a beer if we knew they were sold but no one offered so we just hung out for about 40 minutes getting a run down of how the pizza oven heats up and works. It was an interesting place to say the least. The lady was super nice and the pizza was actually really good and satisfied my munchies. 🤣 I'm glad Roostica...

We live 1/2 the year in KW and 1/2 in Michigan. Look forward to Star’s pizza as soon as we arrive! Truly the best! I’ll take Star’s over Roostica every time. Not that Roostica is bad but hers is superior in our opinion. Wish her hours were different, especially if she’s back to opening at midnight. We just order and know that 9 times out of 10 she’s behind. We try to just take the bikes out and wait at the brewery Cayo Hueso brewing company while we wait. They’re close! Have been meaning to try LiL Chick- SO GLAD I DID. Perfect treat on a Sunday-did a walk up order for a hot pepperoni, add mushrooms and Star delivered one delicious pizza! The wood fire got the crust nice and crispy and the inside crust a little chewy, with great flavor. The cheese was melted perfectly and toppings were crispy and delicious.
