A True Gem in Strasburg – We’ll Be Back!
The Limestone Inn was everything we hoped for and more. The innkeepers are genuinely lovely people with a clear passion for what they do—you feel it in every detail. The property itself is serene and beautifully landscaped, with plenty of peaceful nooks to curl up with a good book and a cup of coffee.
Inside, the décor is stunning—each space feels carefully curated with warmth and intention. The room we stayed in was cozy, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the bathroom’s soaker tub (and the very cool Krapper toilet!) added a touch of charm and indulgence.
Breakfast was, without a doubt, the best meal of our entire trip—and that’s saying something since we visited both of the area’s famous smorgasbords! The homemade dishes were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. What really impressed us was their kindness in accommodating our niece and her boyfriend for breakfast even though they weren’t guests at the inn—an act of hospitality that spoke volumes about the heart behind this place.
We left feeling refreshed, cared for, and eager to return. To the innkeepers: you’re doing it so well—thank you for sharing your beautiful inn and your kindness with us. We’ll absolutely be back and recommend the Limestone Inn to anyone visiting Strasburg who wants more than just a place to stay—this an...
Read moreMy husband and I recently spent six amazing days at Limestone Inn. From the moment we arrived, hosts Rick and Denise, welcomed and accommodated us as if we were family. I cannot say enough about the wealth of information and wonderful recommendations we received during our stay, from the history of the house to the best restaurants and places to experience. This three story house is beautifully decorated, our room and bed were very comfortable, the reading alcove outside our room, complete with a cozy settee, provided a plethora of reading materials. Not only were we pampered every morning with the most delicious “hearty” gourmet breakfasts prepared by our talented host, but there were always home made delicious pastries available for us in the gathering room- in addition to sweets and snacks and refreshments. We were embraced by our hosts as if we were dear old friends. We were sorry to leave and plan on returning as soon as we can. If you are looking for a warm, welcoming, comfortable place to relax while experiencing the wealth of the Amish culture, you won’t go wrong coming to Limestone Bed and Breakfast. It will definitely be a...
Read moreDenise and Rick are the most hospitable host that you could have. The rooms were so cute and cozy. our king-size bed was so comfy. The breakfast that Denise made each morning was amazing! She's very thoughtful and tells you what she has in mind for breakfast and makes sure you like what she has in mind. We loved all the fireplaces that come on with a touch of a button, so you can enjoy sitting next to one reading a book or just relaxing. Our bathroom had a clawfoot tub which they had bath minerals to put in your tub and it was so nice. So convenient to all the shops along Main Street. It's just three minutes from the sight and sound theater which we went to. Also, Katie's kitchen and agape restaurants were super close and delicious. We will be returning when we come back to the area. My daughter and I ended up forgetting our coats at the Casey Jones red caboose restaurant just up the road. We didn't realize we had forgotten them until we got all the way back home which is in Virginia. I called them and they were so willing to go pick up our jackets and...
