Can you imagine an Italian restaurant that doesn't know what bolognese sauce is? How about customer service people who say what about seven times while you're placing your order because they're either too stupid or not interested in paying attention to what you're asking for so after ordering a small side order of spaghetti with bolognese sauce and asking for two Italian sausages that I could feed to my dog it took about 15 minutes to prepare so I thought but to my surprise... it was garbage... there was no meat in the bolognese sauce and the spaghetti was not edible.... the sausage was rubbery and not cooked properly or prepared in any way it was just slopped at me...

No napkins no plastic ware no offer of any other utensils or anything....

And this is after explaining that I'm a disabled veteran who is also a cancer patient and this is why I'm ordering the food this way so when I got home I threw it all away now there aren't many places around to go but if you can go somewhere else go there.

It all depends on who's cooking... the clown who prepared my food last night...

I told my wife in New England, pizzerias are like Tex-Mex joints in Texas - they are plentiful and mostly excellent.

Thus, after a small and mediocre meal, we found ourselves still hungry and based upon what the staff at our hotel said, "people in Strasburg get their pizza there," we went.

Inside, we found exactly what we were expecting - a no-frills, family run establishment which appeared to have been in operation forever.

There was the requisite pizza maker focusing on his craft while everyone else cooked around him in an open kitchen.

The owner came from the rear of our restaurant to take our order for pepperoni pizza and it was ready in about 15 minutes.

When we took it back to our hotel room, we opened the box and proceeded to enjoy Italian-American excellence. The crust is soft, thin, New York style. The sauce was delicious...if a bit too sweet. The cheese and pepperoni was also excellent.

All in all, my wife and I enjoyed this establishment, and if we lived in the area, we would...

I would NEVER COME BACK HERE!! We called and asked if they had delivery. They told us they did through Door Dash. That was totally fine with us. We ordered with Door Dash and they said 45 minutes. After an hour the shop was closed. We just called and asked what would happen. Like would the driver still be able to come in. Or would our food be cold? All we said was we don’t want cold food. After some more time our only person that was able to drive at the time went to get the pizza. We got there and we experienced the worst customer service. The lady said they threw the pizza away. We had already paid for it e pizza, the delivery fee and the gratuity. They were busy and they knew we were waiting for it to be picked up by door dash. They were so RUDE and honestly could use a class in many...

MAMA MIA! Born and raised in the land of pizza, Brooklyn NY.. let me tell you… if you blindfolded me and gave me that slice, I would tell you that was some top New York pizza! It was cooked to perfection not too thin yet really crispy . The sauce was on point as was a cheese. The waitress was so nice. It’s a really great spot. Plenty of parking and lots of customers coming and going you know that’s a good sign. This is definitely going to be my pizza place down in the Lancaster area! I felt like a kid sitting in the pizzeria, enjoying pizza, watching the ceiling fans spin around, baseball on tv… The only thing you’ll regret is not getting an extra slice for later. For real, the pizza was so good I could put them on my Christmas card list lol

After a long day of sightseeing and walking, we picked up a medium plain pizza from Strasburg Pizza to bring back to our room for dinner. It's our second meal for the day and was delicious. Had them crisp it up with no burn. Crust was crunchy, minimal to no flop, cheese and sauce was tasty. They meet the requirements to be called good 🍕 Pizza!!!
