I LOVED this place until the last few months. I have several food allergies and until recently they were excellent with them. Two months ago I ordered some food, explaining my allergies and the severity of them (as I always have), I got my normal order, and had a minor reaction (thankfully). Called informing them, well left a message nvr to be returned. So after a few month I thought I would give it another try. This time saying three times I have a gluten and Severe, epi pen taking, allergy to all fish products. I picked up the food, asked them again “no gluten and no fish? I was told “yup, no problem, if that’s what u ordered.” I open the soup took a drink (it is an excellent soup, when made correctly), then s giant shrimp hit my nose! I ran used my epi pen took 2 Benadryl, called the place, not a oh I’m so sorry, NOTHING! Just “I’ll let the manager know and we will get back to you”, still waiting on that call. It took me two hrs to get it under control! If you ever been to hospital w a reaction, it’s better managed at home! Total of two epi pens and 3 Benadryl…and not one response or Apology. I suggest if you have sever allergies that you go elsewhere, they care so little that they don’t do a thing! I

(Note: I write these reviews in part for my own nationwide business clients, for travel and activity inspiration. Follow me for more! I’m a financial planner - CFP®️practitioner - with a focus on retirement wealth strategies, primarily serving business women and LGBTQ individuals. #VirtualPlanningCraftedWithCare®️) We like to camp nearby and we camp here on a Friday night. There were lots of people here but no wait to get seated. First, everyone is friendly and attentive. We got served quickly with everything served correctly and still hot. Careful, it may be a little too hot. But that’s better than cold! The atmosphere was lovely, casual but also suitable for a date night. Lastly, the food was great! The prices were good. I think it’s appropriate for all ages, single or families. Given it’s Sturbridge, I get the vibe that they are LGBTQ friendly. The one draw back is that they have stairs to get inside, so that might be an issue for anyone with mobility needs. But for us, this wasn’t an issue and we are looking forward to going back.

Where do the good reviews come from? We stopped in Sturbridge because of the stellar reviews and we love Thai food. The appetizer platter was great, but the menu describes Thai seasonings such as galangal, lemon grass, cilantro and lime leaves.....If they were there they were virtually undetectable. The Tom Kah soup was watery.....no Thai flavorings as described...scallions yes, any of the others no. The thai curry squash, described in the menu as having zucchini and butternut squash in a red curry finished with holy basil was basically chicken, coconut milk, bland hotness and NO flavor..there was no zucchini, the butternut was meally and tasteless, definitely NO basil and there were the equivalent of birdseye frozen veges (peas, carrots and green beans) thrown in. I've made better curry using a grocery store Thai red curry paste! I've got holy basil in my garden and would recognize it had there been any present! The "RachaTrio" had generous potions of meat, but bland flavorless sauce (and definitely no herbs...no sweetness of plum sauce, no fruity flavor!). Buy yourself some birdseye frozen veges, throw in some coconut milk and some grocery store curry paste...you'll save the 88 bucks and have a comparable meal. Thai flavors are all about the things they left out. So...

I wanted Thai today for lunch and the 2 places I go were closed on Monday’s . So I did a Google search and saw this place it was not too far from me. So my friend and I had lunch there and I will say the service is terrible. Worst ever. We sat down and had to wait 10 to 15 minutes for water and since we had so much time sitting we already looked at the menu and knew what we wanted. So we ordered the same time as the waitress gave us water. I ordered the curry and a gel wings , my friend ordered the pho and paradise beef. Food arrived decently timed . However the food was not hot it was room temp and the curry and angled wings was so bland . The paradise bff was too salty and the pho was just okay. We told the waitress to split the bill and she shows us the entire amount only. Then my friend also ordered take out and told the waitress to charge get card. But she charged mine: My family has owned a few Thai places and this by far is the worst Thai food ever: I also ate at other Thai places and by far not impressed with the food at all. From a scale of 1-10 I give thus place a rating of 2. Due to the poor bland taste of the food and the slow and horrible service that I received. I do not recommend this place . There are other better places in the...
