Worst experience in a Burger King to date. With only a handful of senior citizens and adults in the restaurant and drive thru with only a few cars in line, the female manager and her staff could not get patrons food orders correct. As we were standing in line waiting to order, then waiting for our food, it appeared that every prior customer needed to return to the order counter and speak with the, overly frustrated, manager with questions and complaints concerning their purchased food orders. The repeated concerns and complaints from customers coupled with the manager's growing frustrations with customers created an uneasy and tense atmosphere within the restaurant. Once we received our food tray and went to a table to eat, it was obvious why all the prior customers needed to return their food orders to the counter and speak with the manager. After finding and wiping down a table to eat at, as the majority of the tables in the restaurant were filthy. We immediately noticed that our two Large Whopper meals French fries were half full. Didn't the manager notice this as well when she handed us our $42 tray of food? Both Whoppers sandwiches were thrown together, sloppy and a total mess to eat. The Fish sandwich was also slapped together with a dab of tarter sauce on a little corner of the fish, dry and was equally badly prepared as our Whopper sandwiches. Returning to the order counter and speaking with the manager and asking her to correctly fill our large French fry order, I was told "no French fries. None are cooked right now". I thought to myself, could this be the reason why we were given half orders of large French fries and sent on our way? After standing and waiting for a good amount of time I asked if she (manager) could possibly bring the large French fry out to our table, because my food is getting cold. It was obvious to myself and others patrons at the order counter that my request was also frustrating to the manager and reluctantly agreed upon. We ate, cleaned up and learned a $42 dollar lesson at this Burger King. Unfortunately for my wife and I, our reasonable hope and expectation of an enjoyable and peaceful lunch in lovely Sturbridge is not possible at this Sturbridge...
Read moreWent here Tuesday, July 16th, 2024, with my family. It was supposed to be dine - in but what smelt like a " dirty baby's dipare," which made it impossible to eat inside with the horrible smell. Horrible is an understatement. The place wasn't clean at all. It was really dirty, and the service was less than . There was absolutely nobody in the dining area , eating . We went outside to eat, but in a minute, there were spiders and creepy crawlers all around us. Our cashier was Matthew Burgner, he was really arrogant, had no people skills, and had an attitude. He was rude, and our food part of it was cold. We ordered 2 Junior Whoppers, which were extremely cold. The 2 fries we ordered were ok . My small Frozen Coke Drink pretty much melted within a few minutes after he made it ,both mine and my sisters melted . He made it wrong. I've never seen anything melt that quickly. The sun wasn't blazing down on us. Horrible experience, we had to eat our delectable meal in our car which we didn't want to do. Awful, awful experience. I differently want to recommend this BK to anyone I know. That is why we don't usually eat at BK's . We usually have a horrible experience at most locations. It's hardly ever a good positive trip to a BK. Matthew Burnger made this experience a memorable one . He had no customer skills whatsoever. For a tourist area, I would've thought these fast food joints would be zooming with business, not this one. This had to already have to be marked . I should have gone to their competitor who always has coupons on their mobile app. When we figured we wanted to try something different. What a mistake that was , and knowing this is a highly traveled area. What a disappointment we usually don't order the Frozen Drink , it was a waste of money . They charge you for sauces to like 38 cents for each sauce of your choice. After seeing that you have to pay for them , I decided to...
Read moreStopped by on my lunch break and ordered two rodeo chicken sandwiches, a rodeo burger, large fry, and a small coke. My coworker got a chicken fries meal. Got to the food window and got our drinks and was then told to pull out front and someone would bring my food out. They were waiting on fries. I pulled forward and was waiting for my food and told my co-worker that at least the fries would be fresh and we talked for a bit. After awhile I asked my coworker what time it was.....20 minutes had passed. I took my receipt and went in and had 3 separate workers acknowledge my presence but only got a small smile. After realizing i wasn't going anywhere a worker finally asked what I was waiting on. I told her my order and the cook that was now up front said I remember that order that was awhile ago....i said yeah I've been waiting outside for it like I was told to 20 minutes ago. I finally got my food and was given a whopper with cheese for the inconvenience. My rodeo burger was soggy and flooded with bbq, my rodeo chicken is dry and burnt tasting and two of the onion rings weren't even on the sandwich. The fresh french fries I had anticipated ended up being dry and hard. My co-worker's chicken fries were cold. This is the first and last time I will ever visit...
