Potbelly — Restaurant in Sugar Grove Township

I love Potbelly and was excited to have one open up by my house but this location is the worst one. They have forgotten my ranch many times. I went to drive thru yesterday for a chicken salad salad which is suppose to have spinach. When I came home there was no spinach just wilted iceberg lettuce and they included some of the juice from the chicken salad which made it gross. Like drain it completely. I was wondering why the window girl looked at me weird. Were they out? If so just say something. On top of that she didnt give me a receipt when I checked in the bag which made it shadier. I called a manager said she would would void it out and only charge me for the chili I got. I will give it a few more days to see that happen on my bank transactions before contacting customer service. I think Ill stick to the Oswego location from now on though. I came in last week 10/4/25 at 1:48pm with my girlfriend and Desi & Kimberly helped me and their customer service was amazing! Desi made my sandwich soooooo good and she had a bubbly personality great for food service! Kimberly helped me at the register and she explained the rewards program to me which was helpful! I tried to tell the Hispanic woman manager on shift about my wonderful experience but she seemed to ignore me as if she didn’t want to hear about her wonderful staff and had a stale demeanor but I ensured she received the great compliment because without employees there is no successful company. Service was awesome. The workers today were very accommodating and able to adapt & learn about what I ordered, an Uptown Salad Sideways (meaning a toasted sandwich with all of the ingredients found in the Uptown Salad), which isn't listed on the menu. For that "saladwich", they charged me the price of the salad plus a dollar for the bread that was used. They were very attentive and worked diligently to give me their kind service with a smile.
