I toured 12 daycares during my pregnancy, and Sweet Butterfly immediately felt like the right choice. My daughter absolutely loves it here. The teachers are incredibly warm and attentive, always taking the initiative to keep parents updated on their child’s progress. Special thanks to Teacher Cindy, Anna, Hsu, Ai, and Malihe! The Chinese-speaking teachers all speak fluent English, making it a welcoming place for children from all backgrounds.

What truly makes Sweet Butterfly stand out is its strong sense of community and transparency. They host events where parents can connect, and during pickup, if there’s time before closing, we’re often invited to join the kids in the backyard for some playtime. These moments have helped me build friendships with other families. I also love receiving daily photos of my daughter’s day at school. One of my favorites was when the teachers helped her overcome her fear of dogs, and I got a picture of her happily playing with one. Our daughter began attending Sweet Butterfly when she was 11 months. Our family did not speak Mandarin, but we were so excited for her to be exposed to a different language. She came home speaking a ton of Mandarin. Cindy and all of the staff are committed to building caring, respectful, and nurturing relationships with these small humans, and it shows. The environment was always beautiful and well taken care of. They offer a wonderful balance between structured activities and ample time for free exploration and outside play. Healthy and nutritious food was always served. Frequent gatherings with families helped to promote community. The music program is top-notch. We loved all of the communication and many pictures that we received throughout the day. Teacher Cindy and her staff members (Anna, etc) have taken good care of the kids with great passion. It’s bilingual environment with both mandarin and English. Teachers here demonstrate a high level of professionalism in their work but also always treat every child with love and patience. Their meticulous care and patient guidance allow the children to grow in a warm and loving environment. They share kids photos with parents everyday, including the pictures of daily lunch and dinner meals. This great communication gives parents immense peace of mind and trust.
