Had a problem with the wife's phone. Went to see about replacing it. She spoke with Kyle who handed her off to Annie. Annie was no help and did nothing to solve wife's problem. Instead, she ignored the wife, and disappeared. When I showed up, Annie was MIA and we were handed off to Javier. Javier's efforts, while a little better than Annie's, also were lacking in true customer service skills. We asked to speak with the manager and, lo and behold, it is Kyle. Both had a hard time communicating why getting a new phone would nullify the service plan discount I had received only weeks prior to this. I will NEVER return to this location for anything!
Subsequent to this, I made a call to the customer service line. I spoke with several people that evening, most of whom were difficult to understand their spoken English. I first spoke with Sheniqua, but the call was either dropped, or she hung up on me. A 2nd call was answered by Maria, passed to Vanessa and finally to Andreas, the highest level of management available at the time. I was told my complaint and request to speak to the next levels of management might be answered with a return call, but, weeks later, I have not received a call from anyone at AT&T.
To fix the wife's phone, I called a local repair shop, and they suggested I go to AT&T device support services near my office. Not expecting too much, I went. I did receive great customer service, even though the guy had many other customers waiting for their repairs and he was the only person in the store at the time. I later found out that this was a local company contracted by AT&T; they obviously weren't trained by AT&T customer service as they knew how to properly treat a customer.
In the end, according to the technician, the phone fried its mother board while trying to load an update to the operating system. Many other people in the shop that day had similar, if not the same problem with their Samsung phones.
Final rating for AT&T is less than 1 Star; I will not return to the Tahlequah store, and am strongly considering another carrier. I suggest others...

Adam spent HOURS helping me troubleshoot why my new SIM cards wouldn't connect to my tablets. He never got frustrated and was professional & friendly the entire time. While I was there I watched the other 2 employees help countless customers with compassion, professionalism, and skill. I cannot praise this team enough.
Unfortunately, they work for a terrible conglomerate (AT&T) who outsources their tech support. After Adam spent an hour on the phone with multiple departments, I was rudely told by someone in a call center overseas that they couldn't help me. While Adam eventually realized exactly what the problem was, he didn't have the authority to fix it. Instead, the authority lies with "Stephanie" whose broken English was a major impediment to the resolution of my problem. Twice i went in to get my issue rectified. Once the guy said contact samsung we can't help you. The second time the guy said you can get better and faster service if you go to best buy. So i took a day and went to tulsa, to EVERY best buy and 2 Att stores. After i waited for the geek squad for over an hour, Best buy said they couldn't help me because I didn't buy it there. Att stire in tulsa gave me a printed paper fot making a claim for their coverage. I went to the samsung help chat where i chatted with myself for 30 minutes. The phone is under samsung warranty. Why can't the store I gave two thousand dollars to send my phone and give me a replacement since that is what they say will happen if i sent it? What happened to customer service?
