Peach Street Grill — Restaurant in Tellico Plains

My husband and I brought my father here hoping for a good meal. We had heard it was alittle pricey so we were expecting higher standards. This was our first time and walking up on the side where we parked it was unclear where to enter to begin with. We lakes up where the tables were and 2 girls standing there just stared at us not once greeting us ur tell us where to enter. When seating us we told her we wanted 3 teas her reply was I’m not your waitress. The proper response should have been thank you then go tell our server our drink order. When our server came to get our food order I asked if bread was served with the meal , we were told yes and it would be a shared plate. Guess what … No bread with a very $$$$ meal and only one side, bread is extra . That’s right, you order the ribeye it only comes with 1 side no bread not even a cracker. Now for the food . We ordered 2 ribeyes med rare , one was made to order and the other was med well.. I have to commend the mgr. she approached us giving half off the over cooked one and was going to give us an order of bread on the house. But after eating our meal and waiting 30 min and at this time never getting a bill my husband had to approach our server who was obviously ignoring us for the bill and he said to just forget the bread. After waiting for 25ish minutes, we left. Story time Me to hostess: hi I’d like a table for three please, on the patio if we can. Hostess: do you have a reservation? (I didn’t see anything online that said I had to make a reservation or that they were even recommended) Me: no? Hostess Snarky: did you want a table outside? Me: yes thank you that’s fine. Mind you, the restaurant was busy—that wasn’t an issue, we expected a wait. After all, it was Saturday evening around 7. We get our table outside. There was one other couple there. A waiter came to them two times, avoiding eye contact with us and avoiding our table all together. Same with the waitress that came to check on them, I’m assuming someone had sent food back to be fixed. 20 minutes in, still no water or drink menu or any sign of a waiter and another table outside gets sat. IMMEDIATELY they get served water and their drink menu. I watched the waitress look at our table and turned to go back inside. After that we decided to head on out. I would’ve loved to try your food and your cocktails. I understand being busy on a Saturday, I’ve worked in restaurants but we were left hanging. We went in expecting a wait. The food was amazing here!!! We shared the Grilled Peach and Burrata!! It was absolutely delicious. Both enjoyed it. I got for my meal the fish tacos. Huge pieces of fish-fried. I'd always had grilled. The fried was good too. Great taste. Mom got the shrimp ones and she loved them too. One order of fries. Well done!! Tasted perfect as well. I know you say they're just fries but they were so so good. Large portions. Plenty of food! It is a little pricey is why 4 stars. BUT the food speaks well for that. Is it worth it? Speaking for myself I'd have to say yes. If they rest is anything like ours that we got. Then yes. To me. LoL props to the chef! Deliciously made!! A tad loud inside.
