I originally made an appointment with this salon about a month ago. I showed up at the date and time I was given and the lady to whom I'd spoken to had not written my name down so she didn't have time to take me.
I called in later to make an appointment and was given a date and time. This week I called them just to verify my name had been written down in the appointment book, and was initially advised that she could not find my name written down for that date and time, June 1st at noon.
In a few minutes, she came back on the line to say that she found my name for the specified date and time.
A day or two later, I got a text message that they would have to move me from Tuesday to the following Thursday, June 3rd.
The reason I was given was that the lady who was scheduled to fix my hair just got off her honeymoon and couldn't find a baby sitter!
And....was the following Friday ok instead of Thursday!!!
I have never encountered a problem with making and keeping appointments in a timely manner but Beauty for Ashes seems to be having some very serious issues with their scheduling process.
I can understand, the first cancellation as people do make mistakes, but subsequent rescheduling should not have been necessary. If the staff can't show up for work, then why are the still on staff at this salon?
Will I ever make another appointment with this salon???

I can't patronize a business that has absolutely no regard or respect for their customers time. EDIT: while I would have preferred to have this conversation off line and directly with Kathy, this response is the first contact I've had from this business since I was essentially stood up by Kathy, continuing to show a lack of consideration. Had she suggested rescheduling the appointment WHEN SHE CALLED THE SALON TO TALK TO LAUREN AT 5:45, and she told her I was already there, I would have, but she didn't. Nor did she contact me afterwards, despite having my contact information, as evident by the multiple texts prior to the appointment, but she didn't. So thanks, but I'll pass, there are plenty of other salons...
Read moreI made an appointment online just as I did for my first visit. My first experience was great. Kathy did a phenomenal job. This time, I was passed off to someone else after booking an appt with Kathy. This lady did not know about the change, and when she was cutting my hair she was very upset and kept making remarks about how they "never tell her a gosh-dang thing." I was so tense the whole time. She rushed through my cut. Her next appointment arrived minutes after she started. My hair is awful, and I am currently looking for a new stylist to fix this mess..if it can be.
