I've been coming to Tellico Plains area for years and have always hoped that someone would come in and fix up some of the buildings on the square -- I think these people have done a great job. It's an awesome addition to the other businesses nearby, and I hope more decide to come in and make it an even better destination. The owners are very rude. The prices are very high. Too high. They try to rip people off by marking their prices up through the roof. Very unfortunate for the local community. They say they’re here to support the local community, while their actions show anything but. Unless of course paying taxes counts as “supporting the community”. We stopped in to check out Tellico Goods & Gear today and were exceedingly impressed with the quality, cleanliness, and hospitality. A large majority of the items were from local artists (all of which were of very high quality) and a reasonably priced.
