I booked a King Business room with Microwave & Fridge. I received room 203. There was no refrigerator or microwave in the room, there was a large crack in the mirror, and the tub was up to my ankles in water when I took a shower. I notified the manager (short, stocky man with a purple car) and he stated he was “going to review the cameras and contact the police when I find out who stole them because I was just in that room and there was a fridge and microwave.” The second and final day of my stay, he brought a fridge microwave combo into the room. He stated the mirror would “never be replaced”. Also, another guest was in the office complaining that his room was full of B.B. HOLES and the manager stated he knew and it would never be fixed. This didnt seem like too bad of an area where mirrors would be frequently broken or BB’s shot into the wall, so I’m not sure if the owner or manager(s) just don’t care, or maybe it is a bad area. I am not from the area. What I am is disabled and have 3 fusions in my spine and I am on heavy pain medication. The night before checkout day, I called down to the office and was told I could check out at 11:30 instead of 11:00, which makes a huge difference for me as I can not move if I wake up too late for my pain meds to kick in... right about exactly 11:00 the housekeeping manager(?) opened the door and started screaming at me “It’s checkout time, get out”.... Before I could respond she slammed the door shut. I immediately called down to the office from my cell phone because I could not even move to get to the room phone located on the dresser/table under the TV. Jose answered and when I asked him about the 11:30 checkout I was given the night before, he immediately hung up without saying anything. The second time the housekeeping manager came to my door, she screamed at me again and threatened to call the police on me for not moving... I told her I was disabled and I needed 5-10 minutes and was in intense pain. She said she didn’t care and she was going to call the police on me. Her name was Sheila or something close that started with an S, I believe. She had no name tag on and I was advised of this possible name by another housekeeper. As far as being threatened to have the police called on a disabled person after being told an 11:30 checkout was OK, I have multiple police officers that are good friends of mine at home. This did not “scare me” and would have been a gross waste of police time had she followed through with her “threat”. I was out of the room by 11:20, still in pain but pushing through it to not cause any further issues. This is supposed to be hospitality, and there was nothing hospitable about that head housekeeper, the short stocky male manager with the purple car that he was driving around the property instead of walking, or Jose. I have stayed at 75+ motel 6 properties around the country, and never have I been...
Read moreFirst off let me say LeAnn and Jesus rock. Now down to the problems, they have a certain housekeeper that will go into your room even though you dont want anything done. She will take things that do not belong to her. Almost everyone who stays there is either a drug addict or dealer. Not everyone there are a few people there that are good people. I stayed there over a month and the pool still isn't fixed. They claim if yo seu work for them you can't stay there but I guess that only applies to certain people. Serena and Ryan also are great very friendly and helpful. Ryan was a great help when my daughter got attacked by a male guest that was staying there. At least he has a heart and cares about the residents unlike some of the others who look at an attack as a joke 😄. It's sad 😔 that the housekeeper goes in the room with the junkies and is all happy 😄 once she leaves the room. I got accused a number of times by said housekeeper for having her boyfriend or ex boyfriend in my room when I don't even know who that person was. It was brought to the managers attention numerous times and was just laughed off. The owner was a real nice guy I met him a couple 💏 of times and spoke with him. In all honesty if there were better people that worked for them it would be a good place to stay. Like I said the only good ones are LeAnn Jesus Serena and Ryan all the others not so good. I was also charged 30 dollars for a late check out fee when the fee is 10 dollars and it wasn't even my fault I had to check out late. If the operations manager would have been a man instead of a little b**ch when I went in the office before 9 am he could have told me I had to be out but he waited til10:15 when I went to pay for the night and said I had to be out by 11 when I had an appointment at 11 til 1. He does nothing around there but try and act like he is the most important person there when he isn't even friendly to the guests. Running aroung bragging saying he is the only one who has booked every room when it is the front desk people who bust their asses to get the rooms rented. His exact word were he didn't need a manager there because he can do the work she does but he won't admit it because that is how sneaky he is. The way I see it is if the employees dont kiss 💋 his feet or ass your job is in jeopardy. Any company I have worked for the boss and employees were supposed to be all business and not good friends on social media but one of the employees is real good friends with him on a social media site. Not very professional in my eyes 👀. The owner really needs to take a look at the way he acts because he is making it bad for people to stay there. Just found out that someone there charged my friends debit card for a room for lastnight and tonight. And I am not there so someone...
Read moreI booked this hotel after seeing a 4-star review on tripadvisor, but had a horrific experience from the moment I walked in. Had reservation for the night of Oct 28th 2019.||||The alarm bells started going off the moment I stepped to the front desk. Had a weird unpleasant smell. The room was dirty, had dust on all the furniture, lamp shades had torn fabric, curtains were dirty and had dark stains. Phone - does not work. Of course. The bed advertised as a king size was essentially two twin bed boxes sandwiched together, not an actual bed frame. I tried settling in to the mattress cushion and the whole thing caved in from the middle. Totally uneven surface. Bed linen and sheets were filthy to say the least, had dark stains. It was mind boggling how they were running this place. ||||I am not a fancy type, and am a regular patron of Motel 6's. None have been as distraught of an experience as Mote 6 Tempe. I packed my bags back up and went to the front desk conveying my concerns and asked for a full refund. This was within 20 min after checkin. The front desk lady just said "Ok, I will make a note. But you need to talk to the manager for refund. He doesn't have a set schedule. Here's a card. You can try tomorrow".||||3 days later, I've still not been processed my refund. The manager is AWOL as usual, and has taken zero initiative to address my concern. Tried calling tripadvisor helpline for refund and they just passed the buck to the hotel manager. Saying their customer relations team would reach out. ||||This is hugely unacceptable. There should be a system for refunding patrons if they didn't find their rooms up to standard upon checking in within a designated time. I would like to give the hotel 0 stars. I hope the manager reads this review, makes amends & refunds my money.||||Again, I don't know if all the previous reviews are paid, or if the hotel has had a recent change of ownership. Trust me, this is no 4-star review...
