I randomly decided to search for a vintage sports store and was shocked when this came up—I’ve never seen a store dedicated to vintage sports wear like this. I was going to a Suns game and didn’t want to be a basic-b with the same gear everyone else had and this store did not disappoint!

The owner is super helpful and passionate about the items in the shop. Even as someone who isn’t super into sports, I was very impressed with the cool items in there so I can’t imagine how cool sports fanatics would find this place. This is no dinky vintage store, these items are legit!

Really great for gift shopping or grabbing something totally unique with history behind it for yourself. And the best part? “Everyone gets a deal” on their purchase.

Tempe Throwbacks is a one of a kind spot, the feeling I got of nostalgia looking at different items on the wall or in the racks was absolutely insane, being a 90s baby there were items literally took me back in the best way.. I first went in and took a few sports items to sell and I walked away a happy and satisfied customer, feeling that it was totally fair. The pieces in this store are absolutely incredible and the pricing is definitely fair as well. I stop in at least once a week now and do business with David (the owner) and I enjoy it very much, he is very knowledgeable and great at what he does. He takes the time to explain certain pieces and I definitely learn at least something every time I go and visit. I recommend this...

What can I say about this place and the owner that hasnt already been touched on. I have been coming to Tempe throwbacks for a few years now and have always been taken care of. But it was my most recent experience that really put this place over the top. I had let the owner know that I was looking for a particular piece for my Nephew who is a huge 49ers fan. Not only did the owner some how find this rare piece but he held on to it ,called me and let me know it was mine. Great price, great deal, great experience. Customer service is absolutely top notch!
