We stumbled upon ChickenHug and left seriously impressed. The food here isn’t just good, it’s legit delicious.
We ordered the Family Chicken, which comes with two whole chickens cooked slow and seasoned in two flavors, garlic and spicy. You can choose up to 2 flavors and I think they have 4. Both were incredibly tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The garlic version hit that rich, savory comfort zone, while the spicy one brought the right amount of heat without overpowering the taste. Every bite felt freshly made and well-marinated through and through.
The biryani deserves its own praise. It’s deeply flavorful, not greasy, and complements the chicken perfectly. You can tell the spices were balanced with care. The naan was soft, served hot, and just the right texture to scoop up everything on the plate. I highly suggest getting Whole Biryani instead of fries (when ordering the family combo)- it's that good.
We also tried their Dubai Chocolate!! let’s just say it didn’t last long. It’s packed with pistachios and layered with chocolate that’s sweet but not overwhelming. The kind of dessert that disappears in minutes.
What really sealed the deal, though, was the Ahmed. He was so nice. He gave a warm welcome, he was very accommodating, and genuinely friendly. You can tell there’s pride in what they do here. Our party of four had nothing but good things to say.
If you’re looking for authentic Halal and Arabic flavors made with care and hospitality that feels personal, ChickenHug absolutely deserves your visit.
Bottom line: Flavorful food, generous portions, great people!! a place worth coming back to.
Ohhh Can't wait for them to come to the West side. We drive 45 mins just to try it and it's worth every...

Read more2.5/5 - I came in with high expectations, but I was a bit disappointed with my order. I got the spicy chicken, expecting a flavorful dry rub or a marinade, but instead it seemed like they just put a bunch of different pepper into a blender and spreaded it all over the chicken. The spice was very overpowering, and I could only take a couple of bites. Since I had it as takeout and didn’t realize until I got home, there wasn’t much I could do. It would definitely helpful if the cashier gave a heads-up about the spice level prior to customers ordering just because of how overpowering it is.
On the positive side, the rice was excellent—cooked and seasoned really well. The fries also had a nice chicken seasoning that I enjoyed (which it was seasoned a bit more though!). The restaurant itself had a great vibe and aesthetic — very on theme, but it was busy with limited seating when I visited. Service was also very good.
I’ve been to the owner’s other businesses and think they’re great, so I was really hoping I’d love Chickenhug just as much. While the spicy chicken wasn’t for me and I hope the spice aspect can be adjusted, I can see myself coming back to try the regular...
