Extra Rustic! The cabin we booked online based off pictures was not the same cabin we were matched with. We wanted a kitchen for our short stay in town, That was the selling point with this Motel. The kitchen in our cabin 12 was extremely poor quality and unstocked with the basics. There was not enough silverware for 2 persons, no glasses, the sink would not turn off all the way and ran all through the night. The kitchen sink hot water didn't work. Kurig coffee maker had no coffee pods. There was 2 paper towels left on the holder. Upon arrival the refrigerator was tuned off/defrosted so it took a few hours to be brought down to temperature for the groceries we brought. Other items to be aware of, the linens and towels are all a black or dark color which can easily hide stains. The mattress was comfortable, however my eyes got itchy and watery during the night likely from the cabin dust. The windows are old and do not lock. Maggie on staff was wonderful and cheerful and she was very helpful at checkin. We canceled our second night's booking, communicated to management through text message and were offered a refund for the unused second night.

Close to Hot Springs State Park and 100% Americana. If you're going to take the American Road Trip, this quaint American owned and operated motel should be on your list of lodging experiences. The staff was friendly and non-intrusive and super welcoming of our two small dogs. We stayed in a regular room that was spacious and had a microwave, mini-fridge, and even loaner towels to take to the mineral pools. Next time we go, we're definitely going to rent one of the log cabins because they look so inviting and cozy. The price is very affordable and we felt much more comfortable than in a stale chain property. There's no ice machine so make sure you stop and grab some before checking in. Also, the shower in our room was quite small, so if you're a larger individual, check with the property and find out if they have larger shower accommodations in other rooms.

The cabin I walked into was not the cabin in the pictures. One window above the bed (about waist high) was broken open. They have tried duct taping it but to no avail. There was a huge hole in the bathroom floor. The bathtub faucet was running. The "kitchenette" was disgusting. The microwave handle was glued on. The windows open to the highway, no view to be seen (as in the photos they post online. There is no actual staff, we had to call someone to come help us. When I requested a refund she had to call the owner. He proceed to refuse the refund, I explained all of the reasons I didn't feel comfortable staying there, I told him I have photos and he threatened to sue me if I posted them. He screamed at me. It was the wildest experience I've ever had with a hotel and the first hotel I've ever requested a refund from.

If zero stars were an option- I would choose that!

My son and his Dad took a once in a lifetime trip to Wyoming to experience a dinosaur dig- a little boys dream come true! His Dad booked this motel as the location was close to the dig site. All was great, until my son left his blanket behind. This isn’t just any old blanket- it’s a blanket with great sentimental value- passed down from generations. I know I should never have allowed my son to take it; but nonetheless I made that mistake. His Dad called and asked to have it shipped to us, offered to pay- was assured that it would be shipped to him. We are in Georgia- so this isn’t just a 30 min drive to retrieve the blanket- it would take almost 2 full days to drive out there. To our surprise, the Blanket never showed, so I called- was told it may have gotten put somewhere there? I explained the sentimental value of the blanket, offered to pay for shipment and to pay for the inconvenience. I was told that she would “look” for it and ship it to me. I asked, “Do you need my contact info?”- long silence followed by “Uhh, I have it on the phone here.” I sure wish this woman would have to look my broken hearted baby right in the eye and explain why she had to lie about shipping his blanket back to him. I assure you, we are NOT people who give our children everything they “want” nor are we people who leave negative reviews, we are a positive bunch- and I really didn’t want my baby to see just how badly people can suck sometimes as such a young age. Nonetheless, if you choose to stay here- expect this same kind of...

The Good: The staff, when there, tried to be as helpful as they could be. The Bad and The Ugly The room was dark and dingy. Brighter light bulbs would be helpful. There was no place to sit other than the bed. Reconfiguring the room and adding a chair would be helpful. Although there was a new shower head, the shower itself was extremely small. And the shower head hit me at about at the shoulder and I'm only 5'5". Glad that I'm not a bigger person because I wouldn't have fit. 4. The sink faucet needed replacing water sprayed out everywhere. The carpet needed replacing felt like there was no pad under it at all. There was a place to hang clothes with only 3 hangers and no place for folded clothes. The outside gathering area was completely overgrown and the lattice work was falling down. Next to it was the appliance graveyard and various trash. There also were dead appliances right outside the office that smelled bad. The outside of the structure was extremely dirty. Nothing that a power washer couldn't handle. Tried to call the office numerous times. The call would go to vm but the vm box was full. So had to wait around for someone to show up. They put a foam mattress topper on the bed because the mattress needs replacing. The sheets were so fragrance that it gave me a horrible headache. The owner is apparently taking a hands off approach. The room pic on the website is his personal quarters for whenever he decides to show up. This property has tons of potential if only it had an...

Dirtiest place we have ever had the (bad) luck to stay in. I splashed a bit of water on the tile in front of the refrigerator and wiped it up so it wouldn't be slippery ... bad mistake as it let me know the tile wasn't supposed to be dark brown. The carpet was also dark brown ... probably was supposed to be cream-colored :-(||The air conditioning or swamp cooler is set for the whole string of rooms with no way to turn it up or down. As a result, the room was way too hot during the evening and by morning (when it was cooler outside) way too cold. We opened the room door to let in some warm air!||Horrible communication from "manager." You get this really perky text before check in (our door just needed an entry code) and one when you leave. HOWEVER, despite those texts telling you to ask if you needed something or to give feedback, no one answered questions. Same with calling the number on the well-worn paper on the office door - no answer. As far as we could tell, no one mans this place in person at all. Most of the individual cabins appeared to be full of trash or were long-term rentals for messy people.||In addition, the rooms were very loud. There was a family next to us with what sounded like 10 kids jammed into that tiny room ... jumping on the bed, banging on the wall, crying, giggling, talking much of the night. ||Was ANYTHING good about this place? Comfortable bed, cheap, close to hot springs. ||NOT WORTH IT. Ridiculously...
