Howard Johnson by Wyndham Tifton GA I-75 — Hotel in Tifton

Room rates were excellent for spending a night and not a fortune. Staff was very pleasant from check in to check out. Our room was clean and comfortable. Only complaints would be that the exhaust fan in bath area wasn't working and some of the lights were in need of replacement. Our first time staying at a Howard Johnson by Wyndham.

Cleanliness: 95% This hotel was decorated nicely for the holidays. Clean and comfortable with very reasonable rates. Minor maintenance in our room as mentioned above.

Housekeepers work very hard cleaning up room after room. Their job is not easy!! My hat goes off to them. Thank you for your patronage. You are appreciated!!

Location: 75% There was not much to choose from if your looking for something to eat. However 1 exit either way had many options. Other than that, there is a gas station with grab and go foods/drinks and a small restaurant inside that offered a simple breakfast, lunch or dinner plates. Very reasonably priced.

Multiple stays, multiple days. First off it is an older building, dirty carpet. Some headboards damaged, some odors.By the way, no room I ever stayed in here had a fan to remove moisture or odors in the bathroom, but then neither did the higher cost hotels! !Keep in mind rooms here vary in quality for sure. My recent visit came with a lot of marijuana in the air, for days. But I don't know who uses medical weed 😂 To be fair some higher priced hotels/motels also have such issues. The best part of my stay is the staff. They are courteous and tried to clean the room to my satisfaction. A couple of the ladies were kind enough to make decaf coffee for me! THANKS ladies!!! They often brought needed items to my room. And I really appreciated how they noticed when I was tired and many times offered to assist me to my room-never got that at the $250 a night hotel! The manager seems to be mindful of those staying-good looking out Ms. Tammy!!! I would've done 5 stars if it weren't for a few things. Don't get me wrong, it's literally right off the interstate. It's clean and kept up nice, but a little out dated. (Which is fine based on cleanliness, location, and price.) MY only complaints were multiple holes in the walls that could be easily fixed, things missing before we got there (I made sure they knew as soon as I noticed.) And I had just gotten dressed from showering and someone walked in on us. I know it was a mistake, I get it, but it still happened because nobody at the desk checked to see if the room was occupied first and just printed a key to our room. Not to mention it was 6:50 am. They did apologize after the fact, I accepted, but it still agitated me. Never had this happen at any hotel I've stayed at! No hey, we'll take $20 off for our mistake or the inconvenience. No nothing! Just sorry, I forgot to look. Come on! They were not rude at all, just not very helpful in this situation to make it right.
