The Mosey Buffalo Williamsville, Tapestry Collection by Hilton — Hotel in Town of Amherst

We spent three nights at The Mosey Hotel in Williamsville and it was a great experience. It’s close enough to the places that we were visiting and very easy to get to. There’s a lot to do in the area, but unfortunately, the weather was not on our side this time of year. We were there for a concert at the Riviera in North Tonawanda, and visiting friends on Grand Island. |The Hilton Tapestry brand is my new favorite. I’ve stayed in three now and all three were memorable. Each one has a unique style and personality. They don’t feel like your typical hotel and they’re not crazy expensive. I think it’s worth it to spend a little bit more for a much better experience. One of the things I like about them the most is the bathrooms. Their bathrooms are spacious and well-designed, with attention to detail in color choices, textures, and overall aesthetic. The ones I have been in feature Grohe fixtures, great lighting, huge mirrors and large countertops. Towels are always abundant and readily available if you ask.|The beds are always comfortable and cozy and regular pillow options. Plenty of outlets in the room and the room lighting itself is always perfect. |This one has a parking garage attached to it and there is electric vehicle charging available right outside the portico door entrance. If you use it, be sure to plan to move your car as soon as it’s finished because this one will charge you five dollars an hour if you leave it plugged in after your charge is complete We did not have the opportunity to check out the restaurant unfortunately but it looked very nice. There’s plenty of shopping and local restaurants and breakfast...

Stayed here while dropping my daughter off to college. 5 nights 6 days bedding could use upgrading but housekeeping-does a good job. Only thing Check your receipts when checking out and when you get home check your bank statements as well! I was charged for items I paid cash for at the front desk, Not only that someone charged drinks using my room number. And the “manger” wanted to argue with me the front desk lady who said she was the manager. Do better we never ever got anything at the bar. We didn’t have any drinks at the hotel at all. I was so confused she was so argumentative but they did reverse the charge for the alcohol we never drank or even ordered. I thought this was most craziest thing. But apparently another guest behind us on the line stated it’s a scam thing people do charge drinks to rooms. But I’m telling the manager I wasn’t even in my room or even on the premises at that date and time like play the cameras. She kept arguing with me she went and pulled the receipts that’s not my signature and not anyone in my party name. It seems like an inside job if you ask me. I usually stay at the Hampton Inn, but I decided to give The Mosey a try. It was a mistake. I arrived in the late afternoon, and Jayden checked me in. From the minute I arrived, he had an arrogance. There was no warm welcome, no mention of my Diamond status. I asked if there were any upgrades available. Before I could hardly finish my sentence, he said we were sold out. I asked why they don't try to preblock their elite members in upgraded room in the morning and not wait till the person arrives. I usually arrive late, so there is usually no chance of getting an upgrade. |I was just in Asia and Europe, and every hotel thanked me for being a Diamond. I would say I was upgraded nine out of my ten stays, even though those hotels were sold out. I wonder why it's so hard here in the US to do the same, especially in the lower-brand hotels. ||The room looked clean on the surface, but the coffee maker was full of dust when the coffee and cups. The headboard had dust all over it.||I had a colleague traveling with me who checked in earlier with status, and he was treated the same way, so it wasn't just me.
