I hosted a party at my home for the Sunday Buffalo Bill's NFL game. I normally order from Bocce Pizza (also in Buffalo) but decided to switch it up and try La Nova. Being as La Nova has a reputation for good Buffalo-style pizza. It was about $10 more for the same pizza. That's fine but left me expecting a superior product. Order placed, delivery arrives on-time. All seems well. We open the box, take a bite and notice a burnt flavor. Upon inspecting the bottom side of the pizza it was revealed to he completely blackened. One of my guests didn't mind and had a slice, but for almost everyone over this pizza was indelible. My best friend actually swears by La Nova Pizza and even they now are saying they surprisingly won't be back. At this point, still no worries - I figured I would just notify the staff of the mistake and assumed they would be happy to compensate me for my inconvenience. My call was answered however the associate advised me that no manager was available to address my situation, and requested I call them back for various reasons, first was the dinner rush, another was the lunch rush. I called back a few times and was not able to speak with a manager until around 1pm the next day. I explained what happened and requested compensation. The manager I spoke with advised me I would have to bring the individual slices of pizza I had left, and be reimbursed individually per slice of square sheet pizza. This is utterly absurd and what prompted to post my photo and leave such a scathing review. If you're in town anytime soon. I recommend Bocce, La Nova has both sub par food and service to almost any pizzeria though. They're business seems to be earned of reputation...

I get overcharged for pizza that should have cost me $59.52 but I'm double charge $71.42, as I'm speaking to the manager Nick(07/24/2020), who tells me there is nothing he can do about it. that it has to do with my bank I then proceeded to call KeyBank who tells me no that was the amount that was entered that is the amount that is going to be process if they do not cancel it. so I called Nick back today,07/25/2020 to speak to him and he still tells me there is nothing he can do I said well as an assistant manager there should be something you can do but he told me no I am the manager so that tells me he has no access no authority to override a charge on a card I understand that sometimes that we can be charged double by accident and it gets clarified by the end of the weekend but this is a double charge of $71.42 for pizza and wings that should only be $59.52 and I have my receipt to prove it I am now waiting for the owner Sam to call me back to see if this could be clarified before I am charged twice because my bank says I can't do anything about it till Monday morning to then disputed for the charges because two charges will go through on my account for $71.42 for pizza from LaNovas that didn't taste very well that was actually soggy very doughy.I'm very disappointed I'm very disappointed on how Nick handle the situation he has a manager should have clarified it yesterday evening when I first called him about it could have been canceled and then recharge correctly but didn't know how to do his job. Today was the first time I have ever had La Nova. It will also be the last time I ever have La Nova. (Begin rant).
To start, the person who took my order was rude as hell.
Second, we walk into the lobby and a bunch of employees are standing in the way (not moving I might add) screaming at the tv watching football.
Third, the girls at the counter were also rude. Told her my name and instead of pulling up an order, she says "What is it?" and walks away. Doesn't take my payment but instead has me stand in the lobby while we watch employees eat food and wipe their hands on their dirty shirt then stick their hands in a pizza for an order.
Fourth, while standing there, more employees are being loud and standing around watching another tv like they're at a party.
Fifth, I finally go to cash out and hand the girl my card. Rudely she states "We don't take this." and stares at me. Michael offers to pay for part because I don't have enough in my account. She then says "we don't split orders between multiple cards." and continues to stare. Luckily I had some cash and put the rest on my bank card.
We walk out while the employees continue to stand around and yell at the tv's.
