I needed to change account to my name due to my mother passing away. I was told by phone rep I needed to go to corporate store, which I did on Union Rd. shortly after my mother passed away, with a death certificate. I spent 80 minutes at the Union Rd. store to simply switch accounts. The in store rep told me I was all set and to expect my next bill in the mail after taking 80 minutes to make the changes.
2 weeks later I get texts from Verizon, asking for my mother, telling her should would lose access in 5 days if she didn't pay the bill. After going to the Delaware Rd. store and spending hours on the phone with CSR's and local managers, I found out they never modified my account went I went to the corporate store and wouldn't do so until I paid for the services that should have been modified in October when I went to the corporate store to make the changes.
Until today I had Verizon wireless service since 1998, I will be cancelling Fios and my cell phone since Verizon are a bunch of cold hearted jerks that try to charge people for their recently deceased parents phone that was turned off long ago. I can see why people smash stores merchandise when there sales reps are literally trying to steal from you and telling you there's nothing you can do about it if you want to use your phone.
Update: TCC replied for me to contact them to regain their trust, when I finally got a hold of them they told me that is an automated message and that they would not do anything to fix the situation. One rep told me Verizon doesn't care about their customers or their policies; but the rep made enough $ to work for them so it was OK.

Read moreNot super happy with my experience. I went in to upgrade my iphone finally after having my previous for around 6 years. When I went in the initial rep I spoke to advised me I could get the 16 or wait a week and or the new 17 for the same price. I agreed and came back. In my second trip I waited for quite a bit before finally speaking to a rep who helped my do my preorder. He quoted me way less on my trade in and asked at least 10 different times if I wanted phone insurance. I was polite at first denying I wanted it and then it got aggravating when he essentially called me stupid for not ordering it. We finally got it placed and I asked him when I could show up to pick it up on release day. He said they opened at 9 and he gave me his card to talk about a plan that could save me money when I get my phone in. I showed up this morning and they were open earlier than 9. I walk up assuming he messed up the hours only to find the doors locked as it’s “by appointment only” I tell them I ordered last week and was told I could show up to pick it up. I waited almost an hour to be told it wasn’t ordered for pick up but delivery and I’d have to wait. Upon tracking the package they said a delivery attempt but nobody has knocked or rung my bell all day. (Not Verizons fault but just a cherry on top) overall this process of getting a new phone that was supposed to be exciting has now taken over two weeks and has just been annoying...

Revised 10/16 and 1017/22. There was an error on my account, I did not receive the $300 Trade in value for my phone that Tiquan had said i would get when he took my phone. Now Kevan Hollie stated that there is NO record of my phone or recorded at all. I asked the manager to access the securityfootage and he said no(Kevan Hollie). Mr Hollie said I would have to contact Tiquan and work it out. Tiquan had also transferred my balance from my phone onto my tablet so he could sell me the upgraded phone. Tiquan called me and said I would get the $300.00 but didn't I want to pay off the previous phone? He said he put the corrections on my account. I called Verizon, Tiquan opened my account and did nothing.
