Loved it ! This well known and very popular BUFFALO, NY landmark is not to be missed.
Family owned and operated, DiCamillo offers all of the deliciously decadent delights you could hope for. From Cannoli to Sfogliatelle to Cassata Cake and everything in between... all of the Italian favorites are represented. Their famous Biscotti lives up to it's fine reputation. I was told that they ship them everywhere and would make a nice gift. It is obvious that everything is lovingly made in-house by local Artisans who care. You'd almost think that Grandma is in the Kitchen baking.
Being aware that I am visiting from Palm Beach, the very nice Assistant told me about their well respected bread. She offered me a sample with a dab of really nice olive oil and a touch of grated cheese...it was Heavenly Bliss ! Oh my God, I could have eaten a whole loaf. It was so much better than that stuff they offer us in South Florida. Just might have to move here...
In addition to their baked goods, DiCamillo also has soup, salads, sandwiches, and freshly made pizza slices. Not to mention, Grandma Pizza too (My favorite). DiCamillo also carry locally made Italian specialties like Gondola Pasta, Pasta sauces, Pesto, Peppers, Canned Tomato, etc. Their seating area makes the perfect spot for a delightful breakfast, lunch, snack, or light dinner.
Wonderful selection, delicious products, amazing Staff, excellent service...the secret to their success and popularity. The 716 showing the World how it's done.

Read moreI called to order some bread for my family and the gentleman chastised me and told me I’ve been told before that I can’t order 24 hours in advance. Unfortunately I’ve never called and ordered bread before from them. I tried to apologize and he just continued to talk over me. I decided not to order from the Williamsville location and will never get bread from them again. I usually just need a loaf or two but my family lives out of state and wanted more. Now my business will have to go elsewhere as I have never been treated so rudely from anyone and again have never called to order bread before. Also when I called I asked if it was possible because on the website it says it is. This man who answered was so rude and unprofessional and I would think he could have explained it nicer and just simply said they need more then 24 hours notice. I would have then understood. Very disappointed as my family is a faithful dicamillos customer however not anymore.
Update although I am not happy with the Williamsville location, the location in Niagara Falls on Niagara Falls Blvd. did an amazing job with making the bread and when my daughter went to pick it up, they gave a full apology for my treatment and refunded my money. Thank you for restoring my faith in your company. I will now only go to the Niagara Falls location for...
Read moreTo the point, my daughter wanted a German chocolate cake for her birthday so I was disappointed the German chocolate cake I ordered did not taste like German chocolate cake. It was dry and bland, not fresh or moist at all. It was like it had been frozen and left out to defrost overnight because the coconut and pecan frosting was like a cold and hard thick paste, too rich to enjoy. Instead of looking forward to another slice, everyone barely ate the first. It was embarrassing actually as I tried to explain that perhaps it was gourmet. When I placed the order the day before, I was given the option of the plain German chocolate cake for $25 or the chocolate filled one for $38.50. I told the girl I didn’t realize there was more than one type of German chocolate cake and so I opted for the latter at $38.50. The cake was decorated beautifully with flowers and personalized for free. I was impressed by that and the fast turnaround and friendly service but also a little skeptical so I bought some cupcakes, brownies, eclairs, a Bavarian pastry and N.Y. style cheesecake as backup to compliment the main dessert. So glad I did! They were delicious and generously priced, except for the cake unfortunately. Perhaps that was the $25 cake? Either way, that was a waste of money as I didn’t get...
