South Bay Motel — Hotel in Town of Babylon

I called this motel today to see if I can get a room just for myself for a night or two, just to get away from a nagging spouse! The guy who answered the phone asked me “how many ppl” to which I said just me. He then said, it’s $110 per night, and I thought that wasn’t too bad. He then starts to rambling saying, “I’m not too sure, I’m not too sure” and slammed the phone on me. I thought he made a mistake so I called back and said to him, you hung up on me. He starts to rumble again, I said to him, can I do the reservation? He keeps saying, “I’m not too sure”, so I said, can I come in person to reserve and check in? Bed had no top sheet. Bottom sheet stained (see picture). Refused to honor non smoking pre paid room reservation I confirmed three times on the phone. The room they stuck me in STANK HORRIBLY like a whole group of people chain smoked for years. I had to scream and throw a fit to get him to change me to another room. The towels were too small to dry off after shower. Refused to give one key card per person, only one for both of us! Then chased after me when I left loudly demanding two back. With his dirty dirty filthy clothes on and his FLY WIDE OPEN SO YOU COULD SEE. DISGUSTING!!! Worst motel ever. I would drive 20 miles...

Me and my family stayed here back in May, to our relief there was no bugs and the rooms were fairly clean except for a few stains on the curtains, bathroom curtains, ect. There were a few problems with one of our keycards in which we could not open the door but the manager was incredibly kind to me and my family and helped us open the door when we couldn’t. He also went above and beyond to make our stay here comfortable. The rooms had a tv with various channels, a shower, a fridge, a microwave, and two beds. So overall the rooms were mediocre but there was incredible room service and...
