Europian way to make pastries, bread and cookies. Amazing taste of chocolate and fruits cakes. We took three different cakes to try and all three were good. One of them was legendary “drunk sour cherry” with cherries soaked in cognac and thick layer of chocolate on a top. Such a great combination! The second was with the layer of raspberries in jelly. Mild and slightly sour taste of raspberries makes you think that it’s still summer outside. The third one was plain soft cake with whipped cream and mix of berries and fruits: kiwi, blackberries, oranges, raspberries, strawberries and grapes. You will love it. Believe me. Delicious cake! We didn’t stop on cakes and took two different loaves of bread. One with seeds and the other one with onions and olives. It smells and tastes like authentic Italian bread. I was really excited to find this bakery on my trip to Long Island. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They give you chance to taste a piece of bread to figure out if you want it. My best recommendations to everyone who is looking for sweets and a good...
Read moreIt amazes me how they are still in business, they sell stale bread and cakes. Prices are not displayed so you have no idea how much anything is. I had to ask for pricing and they were not sure how much pastries were. Bottom line they sell overpriced stale bread but they charge more than in the NYC. I also tried their homemade sausage. OMG, it was awful. Stay away from the sausage they offer, it was very fatty!!! Lard has more taste to it. 10/23/22 - ok, I gave them another chance. STALE BREAD AND DONUTS. I gave them another try and here I am eating 3 days old donuts that I just purchased at Crumbs at FULL price. I think that I should just give up and stop giving them...
Read moreDecided to give this place a try following a google search that yielded so many polish bakeries around the area...and boy was I not thrilled at all. Cakes that are priced higher than Whole Foods Market and so I was expecting the freshest and quality ingredients. So not worth it I mean they are charging nyc prices and yet items were stored too long and items was not fresh at all
I wouldn’t recommended try Sweet Malians and or Czieslak’s Modern Bakery or even Patsy’s for better pastries this place doesn’t cut it. Every time you walk in even the workers seems annoyed at helping you with their sweets it’s not very friendly at all an...
