KFC — Restaurant in Town of De Witt

Erica Was amazing person. When she working are food is hot and it always good vibes. I believe that her name. Her name is on the door. She did the best job her crew is always happy I went in yesterday i over herd the other one who work last night is rude always bad experience I go to college. but the one I think is the most best at her job is hold on my husband took a picture of the door she is the best person you guy s have worked there. The only one who actually did they job the last couple time I been there is Erica zubrowski. She always has it in a good sperit. Good vibes. My food is always hot and everything is always there the first time. But the other woman just sit in a chair trash talk Erica. That not job like. Yesterday my food was cold nasty all over. The place had a lot of attion the manger or who ever just sit around. So I will not be coming back unless Erica is working is the only way I’ll be spending money there is if she working. Yesterday bad experience. Every time Erica not there. It bad. So when Erica work every work. But when Erica is not there the other lady who would not give me her name. They sit around. Thank you Erica for always making sure it hot good me my buddy s love...

Sadly, I am highly disappointed. KFC has a grilled chicken that arrives hot, spicy and delightful to the table. Within recent memory, this location served that recipe. Today, I was offered original or extra crispy. I asked about grilled and I was told the location hadn't served grilled for a year. I ordered original although I was in the mood for grilled. The original to me suffers from being overwhelmed by the breading. I wanted to enjoy some great chicken before going over to Trader Joe's to shop. Plus, the order taker really didn't give me time to think about my order, so I wound up with that insipid chocolate chip cookie and mashed potatoes and gravy. Usually I can swap my cookie for an extra biscuit and enjoy the Mac and cheese instead.

This isn't the modern kind of KFC either. The Rome NY KFC shares space with a Taco Bell and has a pleasing interior. Rome also serves the grilled chicken and offers good WiFi. I like popping up my laptop and working at the modern KFCs. This location has a fifties food service theme. Very utilitarian. The music has been jacked up way too loud. I'm only here to write up my review to be honest.

This is easily the worst KFC I have ever visited, and I have had the Colonel's "Finger Lickin' Good" recipe all over the Tri-State area and Central NY. To begin with, the employees here are surly, slow and downright unfriendly. Getting a simple two-piece Meal never takes less than 15-20 minutes, as they are always seemingly unprepared to serve up even the simplest of menu items. And the Chicken, for some reason, is always bland, rubbery and unappetizing. Since I've lived in Syracuse for the last 15 years, I've had KFC at the branch on the North Side (long closed) the South Side and this store in DeWitt. The South Side store isn't bad, but each time I've been to this store in DeWitt I make a mental note to not go back, as the service, wait time and especially the Chicken are all terrible. Then when I'm in the area and I get a craving for KFC'S signature Chicken, I tell myself to give them one more chance. The result is always the same - I wish I'd passed them by. Avoid...
