G&G Fitness Equipment - Syracuse — Local services in Town of De Witt

I would have rated this place 5 stars until yesterday. I purchased equipment over $4000 worth and I was excited to get the product. It was delivered yesterday. The delivery men told me I had a $163 delivery fee to pay and I was confused as I was told I had already paid for everything, the only extra charge I would incur is if they were to remove my old equipment. The delivery men were so nice, they called the store to confirm. Unfortunately for the salesman I could hear the whole conversation on the phone. The delivery man was very professional, he asked who the sales man was for this purchase, the man on the other side said "that is me". The delivery man then asked if I was to be charged for delivery as I thought I had already paid for everything. The man on the other end started yelling "I tell everyone about the delivery fee and if she doesn't want to pay it, just take the equipment from her!" Well let me tell you, after paying over $4000 dollars the police would be at my house if anyone tried to remove it, secondly I never said I wouldn't pay I was just looking for clarification. I never thought I would hear such unprofessional language from a salesman. I also asked my mother who purchased equipment the same day if she was told about a delivery fee, she replied no, she was told the same as me. So if the owner sees this. Pls let your salesman know the value of customer service as I will never use your store...

My wife and daughter accompanied me to search for a recumbent exercise bike for my wife. Our sales person, Byron, showed us a number of them but they were very difficult for my wife to either get on or use. Then we saw a recumbent elliptical that my wife could easily use. Byron walked us through how the unit worked and as it was a floor model that was being discontinued, helped us with the pricing - and same day delivery! Byron worked with us patiently and professionally and I know we will go back to him for my future...
