This vacation was a way to visit family in the area and also use RCI points that were going to expire. We rented a 2 bedroom townhouse. The townhouse was very spacious and clean. This particular unit did not have the best views but that was not a concern for this trip. it is a townhouse so it has stairs. My wife and I are in our 60's and it was fine but this could be an issue for some. Check in was a breeze and the grounds are beautiful even in the winter. Close to Albany and Schenectady. if you looking for a quiet winter vacation, the Lake George area is a great place to visit. Many of the shops and restaurants were closed for the winter season but the ones that were still open were great.

My husband and I stayed at The Quarters for a long weekend in February. Our two-bedroom (one floor) unit was very nice, fully stocked and clean. The view of the lake from the resort is beautiful. We could hear a lot of footsteps/movement from tenants in the unit above so if you prefer super quiet, maybe choose a top floor unit. We would stay here again. It’s close to LG village and Bolton Landing and easy to get to outdoor winter activities at Gore, Garnett Hill, etc.

Such a wonderful place. Workers are all very nice and were so helpful. Very clean. We stayed in them main house and love it. Views were so beautiful. We will return again. I understand that is under a new management team so maybe the past reviews of nasty people no service was from the old team because I was a pain in the butt when picking out a place to stay and they were all nothing but nice to us. Thank you all. See you again.

This is my third time in Lake George but first time staying at the Quarters Resort. The views are absolutely beautiful and the weather was amazing as well. We had 6 people staying in a sleep 6 loft house and had plenty of room. The set up however is not great for sleeping with 3 kids.

Pros: Beautiful views Close to town Spacious house Nice heated pool Not over crowded

Cons: MANAGEMENT!!! Not much to do for young kids except the pool and nice but small beach.

Upon arriving my father spoke with the manager (Bryan) about not having enough towels for the week. On the website it states you will be provided with an adequate amount of towels for the week. Apparently that means 10 towels for 6 people for a whole week. When he questioned getting more he was simply told to stay somewhere else next time.

I am allergic to wasps. We had wasps nest outside our second floor sliding glass door on the balcony. We brought it to the managers attention who assured us the maintenance persons would take care of it. 3 days later it was still not been taken care of. When I brought it to his attention again I received no apology. Just the same reassurance that it would be taken care of. He seemed less than thrilled and slightly annoyed with my complaint. It did however get removed.

Parking is very tight and on a hill. You get one reserved parking spot per house. After a night out we came home to find someone in our spot. We have 3 kids (7,3,1), and my father who has Copd. We called the after hours number. He never answered and the mailbox was full. We sent a text and heard nothing back. We found him sitting at the pool with his phone in his hand telling us he never got our missed call or text. After we explained to him the issue it turned out he knew the people who were in our spot. I think he had friends and family staying at the resort as well.

Overall- decent place but poorly run. For the amount of money spent we could have easily found a more well managed place to...

I called and spoke to Kate to get pricing for some different room options, Kate was a pleasure to speak with and took the time to go over many options of various rooms they had available. I picked a townhouse and was given a price of $1,650 for a seven day rental, I said I would call back to book it in the morning. When I called back I was told there was a computer error and it would be $4,000 for the week cause it was the week of Labor Day, but on the website it clearly states the prices and the off season rates are from September through early June. The prices on the website for off season rental states a weekly rate of $900-$1800. Kate transferred me to her co worker who she stated had been there longer than her so he could help better. Brian picked up the phone and I explained the situation to him, he was of no help to say the least, he lied to me on multiple occasions, stating he couldn’t change the price yet he said I can make this deal with you... or saying that he had to check with his boss about something then later in the conversation telling me he was the manager and he was the highest person I could speak with. Brian told me that The Quarters didn’t have an actual owner because it was a time share. He told me I could email his board of directors, I did so, and received no response just a phone call from Brian stating that he and his board reviewed the phone call be cause apparently it was recorded, yet it doesn’t tell you when you call in that you’re being recorded. I also asked if I could hear the conversation... of course that wasn’t an option. My family and I visit Lake George every year and have been for the past 7 years, we have never had an issue with any...

I had a reservation here that I canceled 5 months prior to the reservation date. I am still trying to get my deposit (minus the cancellation fee) returned. They constantly put me off. Telling me they are under new management, the bookkeeper will look into, they are working on it. Last time I called they told me they would send me a check. It's a month later still no check. Called back today and they said they were sending me out a check Monday. Stating there was another person with a similar last name who canceled and that was the mix up as to why I haven't received my check. Have stayed here in the past under the old management and never had a problem. It's really too bad because this really is a nice property but will never stay here again. Update: I finally received my refund (after about 6 months). The bookkeeper is longer there and one of the employees who has been on the receiving end of many of my phone calls took that opportunity to send out my refund which I was...
