I think this review would be more positive had I not gotten room 213. It was a very loud and noisy room situated prefectly either above, below or next to the elevator engine. Each time a person used the elevator, a loud engine would fire up waking me up. The front door clerk should be retrained to properly promote the Wyndham product and brand. The guy clearly didn't like his job, was very unoccomodating. When 2, 70+ year old people and a 50+ year old come in ask for a, first floor room as we did weeks ago in our booking, instead of saying, nope, no 1st floor rooms are available, at least say I'm sorry but there aren't any left, instead it's like he was happy for that reason and very blah for the reminder of check in. Very weird. Last year we stayed a couple blocks down at the LUX, I would pay twice what I paid at this mircotel to go back to the Lux. My parents said that the breakfast wasn't good, so they went down thy street to the dunkin doughnuts instead. This not only made it clear we won't ever stay at this hotel again but none of the microtels in the future 👎

Eh, for the price (~200/night), we expected better. We got a room with 2 queen beds. There's no mini fridge and the tv was small and on top of a little closet. There's a cute window bench seating area but the cushion was stained. The iron board's cover was absolutely filthy and the mirror wall was very dusty. They didnt ask to see an ID at check in and really like 3 words were said to us. We had to ask where to enter the hotel to be near our room and thats usually just told to you when you're given your room key, but okay. Its Waterloo, not some resort town which I understand, but the experience wasn't worth what we paid. Also, Hallways stunk. Our room was near the stairs so we heard people going up and down throughout the night. AC worked well and beds we're comfy so 'it'll do" if you can get a good deal but if you want something average or maybe a little better, you'd need to go elsewhere.

This Hotel was so clean. The lady at the service desk was so sweet and accommodating. The rooms have a cushioned bench next to the window which I love. During this Covid pandemic they can't have waffles and pancakes for breakfast but breakfast consisted of juice, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, oranges, bananas, muffins, Danish. There wasn't really a milk option so if you have a lactose guest plan on bringing some. I would definitely stay again. This is right down the street from Dunkin Donuts and Tops is right across the street. There's a Burgerking and McDonald's close by. If your willing to drive about 10 minutes there are several great restaurant options and there's a splash pad in the park by the lake.

When we arrived, there was a truck completely blocking the sidewalk ramp, making it very difficult to bring in & out a luggage rack. Which sat there for several hours, with employees who never seemed to even acknowledge, as I saw them sitting right next to it to smoke multiple times. That was the least of the issues, though. Easily the worst facility I've stayed at in years. No mini-fridge in the rooms, but they made up for it by having an out of order ice machine on the 2nd floor where our room was & a barely working ice machine on the first. (You got a combination of ice cubes & slushy mush) The beds are horrible. I woke up with more back pain than I'd had in years. Pillows were terrible, with just 3 on the bed. Limited outlets, with accessible outlets only on 1 side of the bed. The thermostat didn't seem to work properly, as the room was unbearably hot during the night. But if you dropped it 1 degree, it was too cold while the AC ran. However, when the AC cycled off, it was hot as hell again. The molding was pulling away from the wall in the room, there were whiskers stuck to the bottom of the sink & the toilet was barely off the ground, They advertised breakfast, yet had nothing out to offer. I didn't even bother with the coffee, as I'm sure if there even was any, it would've been terrible. No one ever seemed to be at the front desk aund the printer was out of toner, so it couldn't be used either. We just wanted a spot to sleep for a night, which was close to the venue that brought us there. We didn't care about or expect a room with all kinds of extra amenities. Yet, they failed in that regard miserably. I will never go...

Worse hotel i ever stayed at,asked for a double bed room and was told they had some get there and they only had suites at a higher price.Took the suite and it was horrible shower water was cold bathroom was small room was definitely not the average $210 suite.Feel they wanted to sell the suite rooms so only made those available. Then upon checkout was told the $75 hold would be released immediately and here I am calling every day for a week straight trying to see why my $75 hold isn't released to my credit card.Called and spoke to the manager on 5/16 and was told I would get a call back after she spoke to someone to see why the transaction is still pending.Never recieved I call back like I was told and when I called at 11:30am on 5/17 was told the supervisor or manager is off for the weekend very unprofessional. And after showing my frustration for lack of respect and poor work ethic I was hung up on by the front desk clerk.Called back and he said it was a mistake, but if i was booking 5brooms I am sure there wouldn't of been a mistaken hang up.And as I am messaging this is have placed on hold and it's been 15mins and I am sure either it's gonna hang up or he will keep me on hold longer hoping I hang up.I will never stay at this motel again I would never recommend this place to anyone I would rather sleep in my vehicle if I ever have to stay in this place again.Worst experience of a hotel I ever...

We went for a nice weekend getaway and to see some of the wineries in the area. The customer service overall was HORRIBLE. I would give it 0 stars if it was an option. The checkin clerk was not friendly. When we first attempted to checkin the room was not ready and ended up being over 3 hours late of the scheduled check-in time. When we finally checked in and got our room keys the room still wasn’t ready as room service was still in the room cleaning it. Not a good look… The rooms were outdated but decently clean - no problems with any of this. During checkout we asked about a possible refund for the hour wait we had (which was already 2 hours past checkin). The front desk clerk rudely said that checkin starts at 3pm but they have until 3am to get the room ready. What kind of answer is this? With that logic, if checkout is at 11am, then do we have until 11pm to turn everything in and leave? Such appallingly bad customer service. Not even an apology was given for the room being ready hours late. The clerk also mentioned that they are understaffed because of COVID but how is this the paying customers fault?? Maybe other Microtel Inns are run better, but the experience we had at the one in Seneca Falls leaves a lot more to be desired. I suggest people look elsewhere and give this one...
