Super Chix — Restaurant in Tualatin

I’d been waiting months for Super Chix to open across from Bridgeport Village, and finally got my chance to check it out on a sweltering 95° Sunday night. The place was packed, but the energy was great.

I ordered the grilled Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich (amazing!) along with chicken tenders and a pint of custard. One heads-up: fries are not included, you have to order them separately. I even grabbed some sauces thinking I’d be dipping fries, but in the end, I was glad I skipped them because I couldn’t even finish my sandwich.

For two people, with no fries and no drinks, the total was about $32. Pricey, but judging by the crowd, nobody seemed to mind. The restaurant was impressively tidy for being so busy, with plenty of staff running food and cleaning tables. The sauce selection is great, too.

My only critiques: Traffic flow is awkward, you enter on one side, snake your way to the counter, and exit through another set of doors. I suspect this might change as they settle in. Communication was a little tricky. Most of the team members cleaning up and delivering food didn’t speak English, which made asking simple questions a bit frustrating, though we managed just fine.

Overall, I’d still recommend giving it a try. The food quality is excellent, the atmosphere is upbeat, and I’ll be back in a few months to see how things improve once they’ve been open longer. Just be prepared—it’s a little spendy. But, oh...

We’ve already eaten here three times since it opened just two weeks ago — that should tell you how much we love it!

In our party of four, we’ve tried the chicken slider, grilled chicken, deluxe chicken with garlic aioli, asian salad, regular fries, cheesy fries, and cheesy rosemary fries. Today, they even treated us to their famous custard ice cream. Everything we’ve had has been absolutely delicious.

The food is flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. The staff is attentive without being intrusive — multiple people stop by to check in, clear plates, and make sure you have everything you need. This isn’t your typical fast food joint; it’s definitely a step above.

Hassam always greets us with a warm smile, thanks us for coming in, and today surprised us with delicious coconut custard ice cream. Today we met Walter the manager, who personally thanked us for being loyal customers.

This place has quickly become a favorite, and if they keep up this level of food and service, we’ll be coming back...

The fried chicken sandwich is okay but salty (1870mg!!) & sat like a lump in my stomach causing bad indigestion. The sauce bar is a cool concept. We ordered one large sized fries to share for 2 & clearly that amount of fries would feed 4. The fries were half crispy & half soggy; the crispy ones were good. The vanilla custard is excellent 👌 not too sweet and silky smooth in texture. But the 1 scoop is really a 1 person serving size. I'd go back but only for the custard. Probably often - lol I don't expect them to be in business very long. Also - They only give you a tiny water cup as a joke I guess...feels chintzy or like they're not trusting customers to just get water. I want a large sized water, Chick-fil-A doesn't play...
