DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY- trust me. This kitchen is SO poorly managed that they could not produce one single item correctly. Not a single one. Imagine paying for delivery and having something wrong with every single thing in the order. It’s incredibly disappointing. This is not an inexpensive restaurant. You would think that they would make sure that the orders were completed appropriately. But last night, I paid for a Caesar salad, and was delivered a handful of dry lettuce. It seems a little presumptuous for this restaurant, to think that their lettuce is so superior that I would want to have someone drive it to me from Tualatin all the way to Beaverton. I’m kidding…. I know it was because multiple people were not doing their job on the delivery orders. 😊 Because who needs Caesar dressing on a Caesar salad, right?? 🥬 I ordered a side of macaroni and cheese, and it was plain pasta that was barely even salted, if salted at all (I don’t think it was 🤫) There was about a teaspoon of cheese sauce, located at the bottom of the container. Otherwise, the macaroni cheese had zero cheese on it, ZERO. I could have easily boiled a handful of saltless pasta at home. But I ordered delivery because I thought it would be better. I promise you it was not. When Plain Jumper first opened, their food was pretty good. But that was many years ago and apparently the food and the kitchen management has taken a nose dive. I ordered through Uber eats. And I actually ended up terminating my membership with Uber Eats yesterday over this; this is not the only restaurant who treats their delivery orders poorly. I did let Uber eats know that there was no Caesar dressing on the Caesar salad. And apparently Uber eats thought that a handful of lettuce was close enough. Not worth a refund. OH AND THE CHOWDER?! Holy heck it was bad. It was so runny that the only thing that gave it sustenance was the crackers. It was absolutely runny like broth not chowder and it was a little sour. If it was the end of the chowder, and there was nothing left in it, they should not have been serving it. There were no pickles on the sandwich. There was something wrong with EVERY single item. It was so disappointing. Anyway, don’t order delivery. It’s an absolute mess and you will spend the next day regretting it 🤪 I still have that dang lettuce in my refrigerator and it’s a reminder: No more throwing away money on simple foods that are easy to prepare at home. Loss: $55 Win: Never again 📧Additionally, the company responds to Google reviews but not to the emails that it “requests”.

I've never eaten at a “Claim Jumper” restaurant before and I was on a business trip to the Portland area. I saw this restaurant not far from the office I was working at, and decided after a long exhausting day, where I had skipped lunch to get takeout and dine back in my hotel room. I was not disappointed, but I was very hungry, as I had skipped lunch. I ordered the lemon pepper zucchini appetizer with ranch dressing and a large delicious Cobb salad. As soon as I get back to the hotel, I started to consume the delicious warm fried zucchini appetizer and realized when it was almost finished that I had not taken a photo! Sorry! The Cobb salad was delicious with generous amounts of turkey, blue cheese, tomatoes, crumbled crisp bacon, sliced fresh avocado and diced hard-boiled egg. The appetizer and Cobb salad were delicious and exactly what I was hoping for dinner. Hope to return during my next visit to Portland! The only negative was, I was visiting from out of town and at 8 PM when I picked up my dinner I was so tired I didn't think to verify they had included plastic cutlery (although when I ordered online I did specifically requested it). Fortunately, as a seasoned traveler, I always try to remember to pack some plastic cutlery just in case. Eating a salad with your fingers is a tough thing to master!

I took my family to Claim Jumper Restaurants at 18000 SW Lower Boones Ferry Rd in Tualatin for Valentines Day dinner. Overall it was a good experience but there were a couple of things that were interesting. I made my reservation on Open Table and when we arrived 5 minutes early I was told that there was at least a 40 minute wait, maybe longer. My wife wanted to stay and it worked out since a lot of people left when they heard of the long wait. So we really we were seated 15 minutes after our original reservation time. The other thing was that when our server was giving us advice on the dinners they told us that they love salmon and so to order it (instead of a burger) since it is excellent here. They must have forgotten because later on after we had already been served and were eating they said that they really don’t like seafood and so they never eat it! My wife and I looked at each other and chuckled! The food was very good. I had the Trail Boss Chicken which is very tasty version of Chicken Marsala. My wife had the Surf & Surf and my kids both had the Fish & Chips. We all enjoyed the food. My wife & I really want to come back and try the Pork Belly BBQ Burger!

Reply to Claim Jumper:

You can't even customize a response. I looked at your other replies and they are all copy and paste saying you are sorry and please let you know the name of restaurant and location. The review shows all of that. It is quite clear you didn't bother to look at what was reviewed.

First visit to this location. Went for a late Christmas dinner. We arrived about an hour before the dinner rush. Alexa was our waitress. Took our drink orders and answered some questions about the menu. This place was not busy at all. Only about a half dozen tables were full.

She brought us water, bread sticks, and after a delay, our drinks. An older couple arrived later and sat down near us.

She returned and took our food orders. By now the restaurant was filling up with the dinner rush.

We had our drinks and our food arrived about 15 minutes later. Not bad. However, things went down hill from there.

After our food arrived, she never once checked on us. How is everything, do you need more drinks, nothing. She helped the people next to us 3-4 times, but always passed by our table or walked the other direction.

We finished our dinners and wanted another drink. She came back once to pick up our empty glasses, but didn't offer anything, just walked off. My friend attempted to flag down another employee who walked by and ignored us. Other tables were getting plenty of service.

Finally after at least 20 minutes, although I think it was longer, she returned and asked if she can take our empty plates, but once again, did not ask if we needed anything.

I explained this is really poor service, her other tables are getting attention, and I wanted a drink refill, but she never bothered to check on us. No apology, only that she thought we were done, even though she never asked, and she will get a manager. She didn't even attempt to fix the problem.

A couple minutes later a man, probably early to mid 30s, came by who said he was the manager, asked what the problem was, and I explained. All he said is sorry, asked if we liked the food, then said "here is your bill". No discount, refill, nothing was offered. He walked away. WOW... just wow.

I paid and my friend essentially told him he has really, really bad incident resolution skills, he made zero attempt to fix the situation, just a bad apology, and showed no concern at all. Then he said, quote, "What do you want me to do?" At this point we told him we don't want anything because we will not return.

Unbelievable. Waitress and manager don't care.

There is nothing they can offer us after this incident....

So where do I begin, It’s Friday around lunchtime. We walk through the door and stand for about five minutes before being greeted maybe just a little less this is not an exaggeration. The only problem with this time period of about five minutes, is the fact that it’s not busy at all and there is about 5-6 tables with people in it. Finally once we get seated the waitress is pretty attentive. There is hope!

The waitress was perfectly fine she touched down at the table asked us if we needed anything quite regularly. Then we ordered, we ordered a child’s meal which happened to be pasta, cheesy bread and the lobster sandwich. I also ordered the wings the small lunch size order. Food took a little bit, but this is expected when you’re ordering higher quality or at least what we thought to be higher quality food.

Food is here! Let’s talk about the food! The pasta for being a child’s meal, looked as if it was just cooked in the microwave for 10 minutes. Upon inspection I wouldn’t be surprised if this was pasta left over from prior days prep. The cheesy bread which is an appetizer bottom pieces were completely soaked wet bread. Wings it came out like they were fried once, then thrown in the oven to crisp and had sauce thrown on it just before microwaving to heat up.

My wife and I decided to share the lobster sandwich with shoestring fries. Today we feel extremely sick and have had nothing but issues with her stomach. It was just my wife and I fell ill. I tried to call the store and talk to a manager, first attempt I was hung up on most likely an accident, second attempt 30 minutes later I was placed on hold for 15 minutes nobody answered. The only thing that we ate fully was the lobster sandwich which tasted decent, all the other items we actually boxed up and fed to...
