UPDATE 9/26/2022- I've stayed here before on 2 other occasions. The last time we checked out as it was less than clean or desirable. This trip, the hallways all smelled nice and clean, looked clean and my room was great! The staff was all so professional and friendly and interested in our comfort and satisfaction. Excellent redemption and will stay here again!! This hotel is in serious need of updating! Our room was missing whatever artwork was supposed to be on the wall. Just the hangers were there. I found a used plastic fork, 3 gel type pills and straight pins on the floor. The bottom of the unit housing the refrigerator was all chewed up, like from the vacuum repeatedly hitting it, as was the platform of the bed. Sketchy people hanging out in the parking lot, doors that wouldn’t stay open (magnets wouldn’t hold them) by the elevators, just overall old and rundown place. Bed was also way too high. Sign in elevator falling off, what looked like mold on ceiling tiles, maybe just water? We checked out after one night of what was supposed to be s a 4 night stay.

Read all of theses reviews before booking this hotel, everyone is not lying!! first let me start by saying when we checked in, there was a lady there to greet us by the name of Muffin that was pretty nice and pleasant. Also, some of the housekeeping ladies were pretty pleasant as well, but not all. When asking for something, they act like you’re bothering them! I enjoyed the kitchen area of the suite and the room and bathroom was pleasingly clean. I loved that the air in the guest room worked great, because when walking into the hallways and elevators there is NO AIR! Which doesnt surprise me because the elevator buttons are hanging on by a piece of thread. when I booked here, it was super late (after midnight) when we were searching, we were tired from driving in from 8-9 hours and I regret not reading any reviews. This place is horrible for you If you are used to nice comfortable looking hotels from the lobby to guest room, with a nice environment where EVERYONE is nice and friendly staff that cares about the comfort of their guests. The security guard with the last name Parker would be a really good employee at some place like a corrections facility…he is extremely rude and disrespectful and just adds to the bad taste that this hotel left in my family’s mouth. So rude… This hotel has a sign in the rooms that says something like “100% satisfactory stay and we will do what it takes to make sure your stay is a great one” this is a bunch of garbage and should be removed from this hotel quickly. We ran out of toilet tissue one night at like 10:30pm, so I go down to the front desk to ask for more..the lady says “we don’t have any” I said do you have Kleenex?? She says “no, they didn’t leave me with much here tonight. they locked the room and took the keys and will not be here to open it until 8am so I can tell them to bring you tissue when they come”…WARNING* if you choose to stay here, be prepared to drive to the nearest gas station/convenience store to purchase you some toilet paper, or use the restroom and wait until someone comes to unlock the supply room at 8am when the next shift starts, or jump in the shower immediately after using or just use your hands to wipe yourself at a hotel that you’re paying over $150+ per night to stay....smh. Hampton, If you will do “anything” to guarantee my stay is a satisfactory one…why not open up another one of those empty guest rooms or your office bathroom to pull some of that toilet paper out and replace it at 8am when you get a “key” to avoid your guest from driving around town looking for some??? Another thing….the sign says Breakfast ends at 11am on Saturdays. I’m thinking I can sleep in a bit before bathing to head down at 10 to grab a bite. When I come down, they were out of several items including the of mix for the waffle maker. I’m pressing the button to attempt to get some before realizing nothing comes out and some rude employee lady with long red braids that’s stocking jelly looks and says “this means it’s all gone” …I asked if there was more..her response was “no more” and she turned and kept walking. I asked another lady with short locs that was basically hovering over and guarding the hot food that’s located in the serving dishes if there was more waffle mix on the way. her response was “no because it takes a while to make the mix and by the time we make more, it will be time for breakfast to end”…girl stop! because nobody at this ghetto Hampton inn is back there making the breakfast from scratch. It’s a simple pour of more pre-made waffle mix! I then said so breakfast doesn’t really end at 11am then right??? She had no response at all and just looked at me. Why would you tell the people breakfast ends at a certain time, if you are not prepared to ensure the breakfast is there for the guest at the entire time frame that you tell them. My mom woke up and went down at about 9:30a and there was barely anything there remaining to choose. I could tell you more but I ran out of character space here….smh. PICK...

When I came back to my room to find it had not been cleaned upon a full-service cleaning request made early AM, it was good to hear that Hampton Inn Stone Mtn had a “houseman” still on duty. It was almost 5:30 pm. He was there, but we soon found out his was not there for house work.

My spouse and I visited Atl Stn Mtn Hampton/ Tucker area on business, for a two day class. We left out very early both mornings, but in the AM on day 1, we called back to the hotel to request full service cleaning for our room. Speaking to Dawn who took the call, we requested full-service cleaning, additionally asking that our Linen be changed, and noted the shower gel needs to be filled, as there was none in the dispenser when we arrived. We had left the “do not disturb” sign OFF the door, to receive service.

We also let Dawn know the the sink needed repair, because it was draining very slow, and my husband had to pull out the stopper to drain it.

When we returned, the refilling of the shower gel dispenser had been addressed... housekeeping had also replace BATH towels and removed trash, BUT the beds were unmade, the sink, counter, tub, and toilet had not been clean, the drain was still an issue, stopper was still on the counter, there was no tissue in the Kleenex box, and there were no hand towels. After we had specifically asked for a full cleaning, housekeeping had done minimum. I called the desk. I was told the “houseman” would come up to rectify the issue; and a houseman came to the room. While standing outside, he was speaking loudly saying the room had been cleaned already. He then knocked. Inside the room when speaking with me, he said he had personally come in to fill the shower gel earlier, and he could get me the hand towels and Kleenex, but housekeeping was gone & no one was available to clean the room “this late”. Although he told me HE had been in the room and change the shower gel, when I reply we requested full service, he asked me did we leave the “do not disturb” sign on the door, saying that may be the reason no cleaning was done?

The sign Obviously was not hanging on the door. He was giving an excuse. I agreed to accept supplies needed without the cleaning, then waited for him to return with the supplied... 20 minutes or so passes and he had not come back to the room. We had to leave the for the evening. While exiting the Hampton, my husband passed the houseman standing outside, at the door near the pool. He was talking loudly on the phone, saying, “you know folks be trying to get a free room”. Quite a bit later, I passed him myself while driving in my car. He was still in the same place on the phone; and I heard him say, ” Sit up there gon tell me to do something, gon to TELL me to do something !” stressing “tell.” Realizing he resented the assignment, and had been debating it standing outside over a 20 minutes period, and discussing cleaning with one or more people over the phone, rather than actually cleaning, I went back in the hotel and let desk clerk know I don’t want the houseman to go back to my room... When I return to my car, I saw the houseman began heading back inside. Apparently he had been told I directed that he only leave the hand towels and tissue, at the desk only and not to re-enter my room, as it seemed the houseman had a lot of animosity, bc the clerk was trying to support our request for cleaning service.

The houseman was very unprofessional, disruptive, and disrespectful. The 2 stars for service is bc Other than the desk clerk, the response of being denied after asking for the cleaning service a second time, hours after the initial request was not becoming of the...

I would never suggest anyone stay here. The pictures of the hotel and room are not what you get when you stay here. Upon check in, we noticed there were some “ sketchy “ individuals around the parking lot. The front desk area had holes and rust above on the ceiling. You could tell the property is not maintained. Each floor had an AC unit by the elevator waiting area & you could see the water condensation damage on the wall. Upon arriving to our room, the doors on our floor were all very high. We could hear conversations and TVs playing just passing by. When we would close it, there was so much light coming from the bottom. A lot of the room doors had wood chips coming off, which is odd. The floor felt and looked dirty. The bathroom was grungy and the bathtub water spout wasn’t even secure. There was over 2 inches of separation from the bathtub wall. The towels were also different shades of white.

We had called for extra pillows, a gentleman brought our pillows up, but they were in a trash can??? Interesting as I’ve never been given pillows from a trash can. I thought it was weird, but we left about 5 mins later and took the elevator. It went down a floor and then we see the gentleman again; he said he wasn’t going to come in with us as he had garbage in the trash can! So did he really put our pillows with the trash???

When we got in the elevator later that night, the button to our floor wasn’t working. So we weren’t sure if the elevator was working or not. 2 ladies came in and were like “OH it does that, we got stuck on the other elevator earlier today.” We looked at the elevator certificates and one of them was expired in 2023. Clearly not safe for people to be riding.

They have a “ security” door on the side that is supposed to be key protected. Instead the employees are outside smoking in the parking lot and leaving sticks to keep the doors open. When we arrived later at night, the keypad didn’t even work and the door was not secure at all. When we went to bed that evening, we kept feeling something rough under the sheets and it was poking. We lifted the sheets and found a broken off ZIPPER ( there was nothing with zippers on the bed) in between the mattress protector and the sheet. Immediately I was like okay, we need to find another hotel for the weekend. It was already late and a holiday weekend. There was no way we were gonna find a place this late.

Earlier that night, my husband sat down on the couch in the room while we ate some food and he felt a bite/sting on his side. But we didn’t see anything on the couch. We woke up the next morning and he had 2 HUGE lumps on his side that were spider bites. Immediately I called down to let them know we would be checking out that morning.

The next morning, the housekeeping was knocking on the door at 8am to clean our room. We said we would not need service and they told “ put your sign out then” and was rude. We could hear them knocking in everyone else’s rooms as well.

The staff on property was nowhere near attentive or even showed they cared about guests. That was clear from check in and seeing staff around the hotel. They were there to collect their checks and move on.

After check out, I called Hilton Corporation Customer Service to notify them about this property. I stay at multiple hiltons a year with family and have never come across a hotel this bad. I was told the manager would be calling, but I never received a call.

I would highly recommend NOT STAYING here at...
