Stars and Strikes — Restaurant in Tucker

My sweetheart and I went last night to celebrate his birthday and spend some time together. We arrived around 9pm and as soon as we walked in he went to the bar and I went to lady's room, I asked him to order me drink. I came out 10 mins later and meet him at the bar and he tells me the bartender hadn't taken his order yet. Now to me that's weird because the place was empty! There were two other individuals sitting at the bar and only 1 family bowling. So he attempts to get her attention again and she finally stops ignoring him and comes to greet us. No smile, no pleasant demeanor, just rude with a nasty attitude. Brown skin thin lady with a Bob cut. We order our food and our drinks, she brings the drinks in a few mins and then disappears. We look for our food and her, so he goes to ask someone else that worked there to assist us and the here she comes walking fast with our food. She drops it to us and walks off. About 5 mins later a white gentleman joins the bar and she goes to him immediately and takes his order. Mind u he sits about 3 chairs down from us. She never checked back on us to see if we liked our food or needed anything. She brought him his drink, and kept walking pass us, didnt say a word or look our way. Now as an ex- server you are supposed to check on the guest after 2 mins of them getting there food. She never came back until he called her over to ask for refills. She comes over with an attitude and gets our cups, got the drinks and put them down in front of us and said is there anything else I can help u with? We say no and she leaves the bar area, we taste our drinks and his is flat. We look for her, she's over talking to a coworker. After the third attempt she responses to him and comes over. He tells her is bad and she said they need to change it and she needs her manager. She then goes to wipe down the counters and talk to her coworker instead of getting her manager. A few mins later she goes to the back and the manager comes to the bar and we ask her for help and she goes to the other soda station and gets his drink immediately. We ask her about the bartender and told her she was rude to us.... long story short she's always like that. I just didn't appreciate the lack of good customer service given to us! Especially celebrating his special day but period. Great service makes the experience memorable. Once we left the bar everything else was good. The lane did give us a small problem but they fixed that quickly. We were still able to have fun and enjoy some part of...

Your willingness to provide a free night of entertainment for our PAL participants not only allowed them to have a great time but also provided our PAL police officers with a unique opportunity to mentor the youth of DeKalb County and guide them towards making better choices.

By participating in this event, we were able to establish meaningful connections, sharing experiences and knowledge that can positively impact the lives of these young individuals. Your venue provided a safe and welcoming environment where officers and the youth could engage in conversations, fostering understanding, trust, and guidance.

I have never had an issue before, but this past weekend was too much. It took me well over 45 minutes to get my food. Half of my order was sitting in the window getting cold, while the other half was given away. There was one employee explaining what was going on but no one was listening to her. This resulted in me getting more than I ordered. Which would be fine right, I mean who does not love free things every now and then? I did not want the extra food. I wanted my correct order. I paid too much money for my food to be the way it was.

When I finally received my food the wings were under cooked and cold, as were my fries. The pizza was not the best either. Instead of the manager handling this properly, because it was him (he said he was the manager) who gave my pizza away! He told the worker they had to pay for the extra chicken wings that I received. That did not sit right with me so I addressed him, returned the extra wings and left.

The staff is great and I applaud them for handling themselves professionally while this manager “scolded them” or whatever he called himself doing. I will not be ordering food from here again as long as that particular manager is there. This is a fun establishment for my children to play and enjoy themselves.

Maybe management needs to train their managers on effective customer service and leadership skills. This manager was the problem and made a mess of things, but he blamed the staff. I gave two stars because of the staff, they deserve recognition for their great customer service....
