I usually always patronize this location because it is very close to my home near Idlewoood. Unfortunately today and the previous time I decided to visit were unpleasant!
First, the new young teenager in the drive-thru with braids and the pink phone in her left back pockets eating needs to work on her demeanor and overall greeting because it's horrible. The manager in the black shirt today 5-31-22 @ 8:02pm in the drive-thru was excellent, professional and personable so I can't say less about him.
Unfortunately I only order one thing every time I visit which is the popcorn shrimp combo with red beans and rice since I don't actually eat chicken. After being told to pull up and waiting for around 11 mins, I decided to go in to see why the wait was so long. As the other young teenager with a bad attitude yells at the shrimp fryer about my order not being packed they simply throw a few shrimp in a smaller container and hand me the bag. As I check my condiments and view the food, I tell the young lady that this is not the normal container and usually the meal has more popcorn shrimp.
She states with a nasty demeanor that it comes like that and as I ask additional questions the other manager comes over. Long story short I chastise the teenager as a local patron who frequents this location I clearly will ask and address the food I PAID for accordingly and I can always support the new location that opened on Memorial instead. She states okay go ahead, and on that note I definitely will.
I will also call the owner since a lot of times instead of trying to keep a patron you encourage them to frequent another location taking money out of the franchise owner's pocket. As a local business owner, I find this to be delusional and the owner should really take part in direct hires! The young lady needs to be fired and work on home training, she also needs to work on...
Read moreThis Popeyes location is ridiculous… Came around 8:30 pm and ordered a 8 piece meal. Before I received my order I asked the manger was it fresh and he told me yes. Got home and we could barely bite into the chicken. & I was missing my peppers and also they gave me all thighs and breast. Called and told the manager and he told me that they would redo my order. The next day I tried to get what I ordered and a very RUDE manger was there it was not the one I’m spoke to who in fact fixed my order the night before. But he gave me 4 pieces of chicken. So I told him that was not what I was told as long as I kept my receipts which I did. I called corporate and also wrote a complaint. Received a call a few days after by Marlen and explained the situation she told me she was sorry for the inconvenience that when I go back up there to tell them she sent me and she also told me she couldn’t replace my own order which was the pies I order but she could replace the meal. Well here am I today trying to get the meal only for the same RUDE manger to be there. He told her he took care of me. How did you because I ordered a 8 piece meal sir. You gave me 4 pieces of chicken and said basically if I wasn’t satisfied to call the number on the receipt. I spent to much money on old chicken that apparently was just sitting under the heating area getting dried out and burnt. & the fact that I have came up here twice...
Read moreThe experience I had at this location last week was so negative. The manager, Bobby, was so rude and so nasty to me that customers actually walked out of the store. I placed an order for a three piece spicy. when I opened it, I realized that it was mild. I returned to the store to exchange it for the spicy.The general manager was confrontational and told me that he gave me what I asked for. I tried to explain that it was the mild and that I ordered spicy. He continue to talk at me in front of customers.
He begin filling my order and then stopped. He told me he was going to make me wait because he gave me what I asked for the first time.
At this point, I am asking him to please fill my order so that I can get back to work. He goes on to the register to take other orders. The customer he was attempting to assist said please correct order. His response” I have handled her already, she is going to wait”. The customer was so disturbed at what was happening she walked out after I did. The manager went on to say “now you are begging. I gave you what you wanted the first time. This is why I can’t stand you black women. You’ll get on my nerves. You need to go home and cook your own food and leave me alone. I just want to give you your money back.”
This is the short version. This behavior should not be excused...
