This hotel should only be for the owners and their family since they already live onsite. Front desk is ran by the husband, the rooms are not properly cleaned, the husband, wife and kids run the hotel very poorly. You let them know you need towels or your linen changed and they will take it off your bed say they will bring it back as if they are out of stock of things. They have bugs and when you tell them that it's like we can spray this Walmart stuff for bugs but they dont know if its going to works at all. Our microwave wouldn't work without going out or the television messing completely up. They bring another microwave but it would only work as if it was set by timer. The beds were not comfortable, the chairs were either dirty or torn up so you had to put something like a towel over it, the carpet was so bad off it was best to walk with your shoes on, the wife did not know how to clean all, I had to ask for bleach to clean the tub and toliet, its so dusty but yet she has a cart with cleaning supplies she doesnt even know how to use and talk on her phone every minute not paying any attention to customers. A lady lost her belongings in a room and they said it wasnt there but she came back and it was exactly where she left it but the husband says well I disnt even go look... They have they son checking rooms, trying to clean, and wash laundry that is not done properly because it was stains on all the cover and pillow cases that bleach should have taken out. The pillows were worn and you needed about 6 plus to even make yourself comfortable. Its in an okay area but this place needs to do something with the price or make some major changes like they did to make their stay comfortable. If you just want to through your money out then go here but its better hotels right down the street with good prices, and areas in Tupelo thats worth the money you work hard for. I just think this is a HORRIBLE AND UNCLEAN...
Read moreWorst service ever. We booked the hotel from booking and we state that we have pet. We arrived to the hotel and we didn't even let me to the reception. The weather is 30 outside and he tried to help me from the window. It took so long because of their connection problem and at the end I asked him that can I come inside please because I was freezing outside. When I come inside, I waited for 30 minutes to get into our room. The receptionist was talking on the phone probably with the manager and he was getting all instructions from him since he doesn't know anything. Since they had no connection, he took photo of my credit card to get payment afterwards. After waiting 30 minutes, he asked me 20$ pet fee. I think it is extremely high for a 2-star and $50 for a night hotel. Anyways, I accepted to pay $20 for pet and then the manager on the phone asked me how big is my dog? I said 48 lbs and they told me that we can't accept pet over 25 lbs. I said there is no information about this on booking, in fact it is saying pets are acceptable upon fee. After he argue with me 10 minutes, I asked for refund. Then he said okay we can accept for once. (We already never gonna be there anyways). That was the worst service experience in a hotel in my whole life. Extremely unprofessional and annoying. We ended up eating our food cold and my dog hardly waited for me in the car for 40 minutes. After a long drive, the point of getting a hotel is to be able to get rest but these 2 guys made me more tired by giving me the worst hotel service...
Read moreThis was a most welcome stop on our road trip as a couple. The rooms smelled fresh, the sheets were clean and beds amazingly comfortable! Bathrooms were spotless and the floor did not turn my socks black as do many other budget motels Check in was a breeze, and it was surprisingly quiet given mid- town location. My husband and I both slept very soundly and I am a light sleeper. The rates are an outstanding bargain and I would not hesitate to stay here again. We felt safe and there were no issues at all with harassment. We are not frequent travelers and the manager was personally very accommodating to my mobility- impaired husband’s need for a ground floor on short notice. Thanks so much for having us! Y’all remember to tip your cleaning person- they work real hard in this industry...
