Affordable and convenient stay I recently stayed at Motel 6 during a road trip, and overall, I had a positive experience. As a budget-conscious traveler, I was looking for an affordable accommodation option, and Motel 6 delivered just that. Here are my thoughts on the stay:

First and foremost, the location was excellent. Motel 6 is strategically placed near major highways, making it easily accessible and convenient for travelers. This was particularly helpful for me, as I was looking for a place to rest for the night during my long drive. The proximity to nearby restaurants and gas stations was an added bonus.

The staff at Motel 6 was friendly and welcoming. From the moment I checked in until the time I checked out, they were attentive to my needs and provided me with all the necessary information. They were knowledgeable about the area and readily offered recommendations for local attractions and dining options.

The room itself was clean and well-maintained. While the accommodations were basic, as expected from a budget motel, I found them to be comfortable enough for a short stay. The bed was decent, and the bathroom, although compact, was clean and functional. The availability of amenities such as a TV, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning made my stay more convenient and enjoyable.

Ive been to some bad Motel 6's. Dirty, sketchy, broken, been almost robbed once, at other Motel 6's. This. Is. The. Worst. Asked for non smoking room. First room we got Reeked of smoke. Asked for another. Second room was a bit better but still smelt of weed and cigarettes. Cigarette burns in both bedspreads. Floors, disgusting. Towels that were supposed to be white were yellow. Toilet seat gross. Bathtub looks like they performed an Exorcism in it; was planning to take a shower in the morning to get the smell of smoke off me but after seeing it I was too afraid too.

Toilets and sink backed up, barely draining. The beds are too small, not the size they advertise; and theyre on bedframes that are too big and you'll probably hit your shin on it. Bed are also curved? Like something in under them in the middle. Not comfortable. Pillows are, at best, flat. Seem to be stuffed with paper. Microwave does not actually cook food, just gradually makes it less frozen.

Also, avoid the water dripping off the second story. Its not regular water. Not sure what it is, but it stinks like booze and urine (which it probably is.) I was unfortunate enough to be dripped on...and still too afraid to use their shower.

Been legitimatwly concerned this whole time that I'm going to catch some disease here..

Pay the extra money to stay ANYWHERE else but here. God I wish I did..but was too tired to move my stuff and my family out the room and off to another hotel..

They really should be ashamed of themselves here. This is like..a druggie motel at Best. Not even that nice really.

I am on the road as a service technician worldwide since 22 years But that room was the worst i ever Experienced Ceiling light in the room not working Tv went mute every minute for 10 sec Mold in the bathroom The room was so humid that my clothes in the suitcase started mold after 2 days When arrived there was ash on my bedsheets Wifi didn't work (got the motel 6 network but there was no data ) The floor was so dirty that i was afraid to walk bare Feet The bathtub was very dirty

In my life I often had to stay in hotels in east Europe , but I never had such a worse room

I now am in the red roof hotel next to this motel six and i feel in the moderate room I have there like in an 5 star room After 2 nights that i was in the motel 6 i got a cold because of the humidity in the room I don't except much , because the rooms are cheap But that was a danger to my health I have seen good motel 6 (Sandusky) and motel 6 Charlotte , nc that has rooms from a scale from ok to bad

Bud I never had that a worse room Please make the manager of motel 6 in tupelo stay ( sleep ) for one week in room 147 maybe then things will change

I will on Monday ( hopefully ) return to Charlotte and go back there to the motel 6 colluseum again

But this time I want to see my room before I give them my credit card

I don't want to be picky I don't need something fancy But mold is a threat to health and the room should be at least clean Because that's what I pay for
