Elvis Presley Homecoming Statue — Attraction in Tupelo

4/15/2023: Pretty statue in the town center recognizing Elvis’ coming home concert after he became famous. It’s easy to park on the street and walk up for a photo. Grounds are nice except my beautiful state flag has been ripped from her pole and replaced with an inferior rag. Had my pepper spray ready the whole time because I no longer feel safe but my children need to play. Having to wait until no one is around and very Leary if any vehicle that pulls up and turns lights off and no one gets out . I am armed and have other means of protection but you never know what folks are thinking these days. I used to feel safe in this...

I didn't expect this place to be so nice. It's near historic Tupelo and there's a bunch of parking. Hardly anyone here. It was perfect and peaceful. The statue is neat to look at and the park itself is well kept. There's a lot to do for kids. The statue's hand is polished from all the people who touch it lol....
