Hello,

My feedback for my overall stay was very good. I had one incident regarding housekeeping. When I initially checked in and "requested" daily housekeeping, I was told that the cleaning crew would be there every other day? When I saw the cleaning staff on the floor it was stated they are there everyday. When I called the front desk the next day and told her what was stated to me the past two days her reply was "Who told you that"? and then stated I will call you back. Never received a call back. The cleaning person that provided services was Raven she was very, very polite and accommodating the first day. The next day when I call the front desk and never rec'd a call back. I when outside of my door Raven happened to be cleaning the room across from me. I said, Hello! she said "Hi can I help you? at that moment her manager Keisha walks up in front of me and said REALLY NASTY, EXCUSE ME! Emoji. So I looked at her and then proceeded with my question to Raven "Can you tell me if our room is on the list to be cleaned today?" However, before she could answer, Keisha answered for her and said again REALLY NASTY! YOU JUST HAD A CLEANING YESTERDAY!!EmojiEmoji. I could have reacted like her very UNPROFESSIONAL. Instead I decided to handled her the corporate way. Which is my next move will be to contact them.

With all of that said, fyi...I did look up the policy and it states the following: No automatic daily cleaning: In general, Hilton Garden Inn, like other Hilton brands, does not automatically clean rooms daily unless requested. Requesting cleaning: Guests can request housekeeping by calling the front desk or visiting the front desk. So, in summary if I or any other guest REQUEST daily cleaning we can receive it. Therefore, Keisha unprofessional manager attitude was not correct or...

I really loved my stay here. I tried it out after trying 2 other hotels in the area. I'm glad I did. This place has a bit of everything you would want in a hotel and a couple of luxury feeling things too. When I walked in the door, it smelled clean. They had me at hello. lol The lobby was very nice..there is a dining area..TV/fireplace area, snack bar, outdoor patio with fire pit, meeting rooms, gym, laundry room, and even a business center. Check in was easy and the incidentals fee was small compared to other places I've stayed in the area. The elevators smelled clean, and masks are optional btw..right now. I had the breakfast buffet which is not free, but you can get your eggs the way you want them ..cooked to order and the attendants were right there ready to serve me.

My room was nice, the carpet was clean and loved the big screen TV. The air conditioner and heater panel was very contemporary and easy to use. Worked well. There was also a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker with tea and coffee pods, a hair dryer, ironing board, and iron.

Due to covid 19 cleanliness rules, the cleaning crew only cleans your room if you stay more than 5 days. Guests are asked to pick up anything they made need replenished at the front desk. Any trash or trays are asked to be left in front of your door during a certain time period. I did not mind this because I don't like people in my room anyway. lol

The staff had smiles and were ready to answer all questions. Join their Hilton honors program for room discounts.

Oh and the location! Right next to an IMAX movie theater, a Starbucks just in front on the property, many food places, and gas stations nearby, and easy access to highway 69. Brilliant. I will be back.

BEWARE OF ADDED CHARGES AND AMENDED STATEMENTS! The stay was fine. It was after the fact that I am extremely disappointed in. On the morning I checked out, I received my final statement, and I entered that amount in my expense account, and that amount is what was also deducted from my bank account. Two days later, while checking my bank account, I notice there was an ADDITIONAL charge on top of what my final statement indicated. I called the Hilton Garden Inn, and was told there was a "glitch".

You DON'T hand a customer their final statement on the morning they checked out, and then go back later and charge them more than what is indicated on the statement you handed them the morning they checked out!! That is just bad business! I have never had this happen at any other Hotel I've stayed at before, ever!! And this was my SECOND stay at THIS particular Hotel since July of 2021. I now have added charges that were not on my final statement when I checked out that I am now unable to claim because my original statement is what I submitted. So now I end up having to eat the difference because of THIER Glitch!? An hour of arguing with the Indian after calling Hilton Customer Support ALSO led nowhere! I am a Hilton Gold member, and this is NOT how you treat customers, especially customers who have been loyal to the Hilton brand! This experience has destroyed my desire to ever stay at THIS Hotel, or at any other Hilton branded Hotel ever again! Hilton has forever lost me...

Looking for a place to stay in Tuscaloosa for an Alabama game? Or anything for that matter, this is THE place! The grounds were in great shape, the rooms were super clean, the staff was SUPERB, the breakfast set up was the cutest. There is a Starbucks right near the hotel. We also tried a local sushi restaurant and loved it. I can’t wait to go back. #rolltideroll #tuscaloosaalabama #alabamacrimsontide 🐘❤️🏈

We stayed for one night traveling back home to Texas & we have no complaints at all! We were blessed enough to stay in one of the newly renovated rooms & they even gave us a complimentary basket. There was a fridge, microwave, kurig, steamer, hair dryer in our room & toiletries in our restroom (including lotion & makeup remover wipes). It was SO clean, if you don’t mind construction supplies in the hallways for the amazing work they’re doing on the building & rooms, it’s a great stay. The staff was genuinely so respectful & kind, nothing but sweet ladies at the front desk & working the breakfast bar. They have an area in the lobby for kiddos, with crayons & a tic tac toe game, which was great for us because our family has curious toddlers so that occupied them well. The staff was also kind to our wondering & talkative kids which is a rarity in this generation of people. Breakfast was delicious, but it was a $10/per up charge, to us it was worth all they had to offer. Lots of cold & hot breakfast options, several juices, coffees, and water. They had no problem letting us take some extras to go for our drive back. We loved it here, if we ever find ourselves back we will definitely be staying again.
