My husband and I did not have our own transportation during our stay because we use medical transportation to get to and from the hotel as we get our health care in MN but reside in WI. When choosing a hotel, I always make sure that the hotel has free shuttle service. I read that this hotel did, so I decided to make a reservation with them. We had some errands to run, so I went to the front desk the first evening and requested shuttle service for the following day. The employee had no information for me but told me to stop down when the morning shift came in. I did just that, but I was informed that it was only for local businesses. I told the clerk that I would be doing business at local stores, and she told me that the reason for my request didn't qualify for a ride. I then returned to my room and went on my computer to see if I actually saw the information regarding free shuttle service when deciding to stay at this hotel or if I was mistaken. It turned out that my information was accurate. I again approached the clerk and told her what I had found. She still said we could not get a ride. At this time, she came up with a different excuse - saying that I would have needed to give them a 24-hour notice. I told her that I saw the shuttle bus parked in front of the hotel door the day we arrived, and I also saw it empty and seemingly available every time I was in the lobby, but she didn't budge. I do not recommend this hotel and will never go back based on the fact that I made my reservation at this hotel because it offered free shuttle service (with no special requirements listed), but was denied the service even though the bus sat empty at the hotel entrance and not used at all while we were there. Additionally, I had misplaced my ring. My husband looked in every nook and cranny to locate it. While doing so, he found 4 partial bottles (hidden on the desk behind some framed art that was there) of hard liquor,  and also found some small toys and toenails on the floor. It made me wonder how clean the room actually was (i.e., did they even change the bedding for us?). The room was not well stocked with toilet paper. Although there were 2 rolls, both were nearly empty and only got us through the first evening.

Outstanding place to stay, employees were polite, friendly, & helpful. The doors were a little on the heavy side to open but they know about the problem & said the weights have to be adjusted. They have a pool, hot tub, fitness room, meeting room or conference room, patio out back, computer area & fax machine. Handicap parking & entrance, carts to take your stuff to or from your vehicle & room. Hot & cold breakfast food, like scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, waffles, yogurt with a variety of toppings, oatmeal, bagels, scones, cold cereal, bananas, beef& pork maple sausages, coffee, tea, juice, water, hot chocolate too I believe. The coffee, tea & hot chocolate are available throughout your stay. Fitness center is open 24 hours, handicap parking & elevator, nicely located. Rooms have, microwave, mini fridge, tv, shower& bathtub with shampoo, conditioner & shower soap in bottles on wall of shower, hair dryer, ironing board. We so enjoyed our stay. Check-in was easy & quick same with checking out.

Rooms were soooo disgusting. We had staining on our furnitures and tables. I couldn’t sit anywhere knowing my black outfits will have white staining on them afterwards. Two ant bites while I was sleeping during the night. Please bring back the house cleaning everyday to keep your rooms from staying dirty. They blamed 3rd party for my extra charges when I had specifically called them for more information and they gave me the incorrect information. No internet connection. To use WiFi you must make a Marriot account. I get enough spam!!! I use 3rd party companies because I either save more or loyalty points. Blame your own incompetence. Please don’t discriminate and treat all guest equally. We all paid to stay here. I do not know why this hotel has good ratings. I will not return nor recommend anyone here. There is one good outcome. Your breakfast. The only thing we looked forward to.

As I sit here watching a show in the ID channel I was reminded of my stay at the Country inn & suites. I decided to check google to see if my review was there and to my surprise it had been removed!!! I scrolled through to see a bunch of responses from the owner and it frustrated me as when I had a bad experience no one reached out to me or my family, they just delete my experience like it didn't happen. Well I guess the jokes on them because I can bet that mattress is still in one of the rooms there. Anyways, here I am, adding my review, probably for it to be removed once again. I stayed here with my sister and mom about 2 years ago. We had planned a girls trip after me experiencing a trauma. I'll share a little more of why that's important in a moment. We were looking to turn a bad memory/time I to something positive. On my last day here, I was packing my suitcase on the side of the bed near the window and the fitted sheet happened to come off the mattress (see pics). It was very clear that the mattress had been soaked in blood and attempted to be cleaned. Note that the "top" is cleaner than the sides where the blood soaked down deep. In all reality this mattress should have been disposed of because of the blood borne pathogens. I know it was blood because of the personal trauma that I experienced months before, the bed that my ex completed on was cleaned then disposed of. Also, I confirmed by a few crime scene cleaners that what's on this mattress is blood, very old blood (see crime scene photo). I joked about how uncomfortable the bed was all week, and after finding this it triggered horrible PTSD. My mom quickly went to the front desk and and told them about the mattress. We got no apology and she even got charged double for the room. The room should have been comped, a manager should have spoken to us immediately. An employee told my mom that it's red wine, like we are dumb. Red wine comes out with white wine or vinegar, it's clearly blood. Anyways, my point is they have no customer service. Had we gotten an apology or someone that had cared this wouldn't be any issue, so just be aware of where your paying your head in this place. Honestly, we should have seen employees going to the room and removing the mattress. It's no wonder I couldn't sleep that whole trip, I was sleeping on a...

The beds are comfortable and the tv is great with multiple channel selections. However I had multiple major problems! When you pre-book your rooms you’d expect the hotel to make sure your rooms are close to each other and not on different floor levels. My friends & I pre-booked three rooms and two rooms were on the second level at opposite ends and the third room was on the fourth level. When checking in you’d expect the person who pre-booked the rooms to be able to check in all three rooms but that wasn’t the case. Each person that was listed under a room had to specifically check-in for ONE ROOM only even though ALL rooms are registered under one name. Check out time wasn’t clarified. Within the pre-book online email that was received it said that check out time is at 12pm HOWEVER when you walk around the building it says check out time is at 11am. One of the rooms that I specifically stayed in have a phone room service BUT it doesn’t work!? Is there even a point to have a phone inside the room if the occupants can’t use it? Key cards for the room was difficult to swipe because I would have to stay outside of my room trying to have the key card swipe recognized for more than 10+ minutes. A few neighboring occupants told us that many people were having problems with the key cards too. Key card doesn’t work for the side doors so it isn’t convenient to park by the side doors because you would have to walk towards the lobby anyways. Was only given one key card for a each room that was pre-booked. Which doesn’t make sense because aren’t you supposed to have...
