I recently had the pleasure of dining at Perkins Restaurant and Bakery, and I must say that my experience was exceptional, thanks to our server, Lacey Labar. From the moment we walked in, Lacey greeted us with a warm and genuine smile, making us feel immediately welcomed and at ease.Throughout our meal, Lacey demonstrated an incredible level of attentiveness and professionalism. She was quick to provide menus and take our drink orders, ensuring that we never had to wait long for anything. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she was able to offer insightful recommendations that catered perfectly to our tastes.What truly stood out was Lacey's ability to anticipate our needs without being intrusive. She checked in on us at just the right moments, refilling drinks and addressing any questions we had with a cheerful and helpful demeanor. This is the second time I have ordered from this location and both times have been horrible experience due to the following: 1) staff picks up the phone, tells you to hold on a second; you end up being left on the phone for 15mins and longer, you can hear him in the background, talking to others and taking their orders while I sat on the phone for over 15mins.

2. when you order the food online, the time you select to pick up the food doesn’t matter. For example, I selected pick up time for 11:35am, after I ordered the food, it shows pick up time is 10:35am. I called the restaurant to let them know that I won’t be able to pick up the food until 11:30am. The staff stated that there’s an issue with their system that whenever you select a specific time, it automatically defaults to the soonest time. Once again I informed the staff that I won’t be able to pick up the order until 11:30am, asked if the order can either be cancelled or the food be made closer to the time.

The staff stated that if the food is made before 11:30am, it will be under the warmer until pick up time.

I came to the restaurant to pick up the food, waited 12minutes before anyone asked how I could be assisted.

Upon get home, I was very disappointed. The pancakes and eggs were hard as a rock, I’m guessing from the food sitting under the warmer for over an hour.

The coconut cream pie that I also ordered looked very disgusting, almost as if it was scraped from a plate and packaged to go.

We have been at this location twice & ordered take out twice. Both times we got takeout, everything was just fine. Good food, ready on time, good price, etc. The first time we dined-in, everything went well with service & food. However, my son & I just went here recently for a "special-someting-fun" for us to do together & had a not-so-great experience... We had less-than-good service & the food was not good at all. I was surprised because I typically like the food we receive here however this time was different. There was fries the mixed in with my breakfast potatoes & my omelet literally only had filling and half of it, the other half was only just egg, no cheese or other filings at all. The pancakes were somewhat burnt & for some reason there was a hole in the middle of all of them. The chicken wild rice soup was pretty good. But the chicken salad entree was quite sad... To the point of hardly eating any of it aside from a couple bites. The "toasted bread" it came on was about 1.5x5 inches & the slop that was chicken salad was put on with an ice cream scoop. (not to mention there were no nuts like there was supposed to be) BUT... I just want to make it known this is the only bad experience I've had, usually it is good (the other few times at this location) & everything you would expect...
