Let me save you a lot of aggravation, time, and money! My wife and I were looking to purchase a new mattress and one that would adjust as I had back surgery and sleeping in one position was painful. We first went over to sleep number where we were greeted by a professional sales individual. That sales individual was the only thing good about our experience. To make a long story short it took forever to deliver the equipment and after delivery they could not even put it together. We were told we needed extra equipment in order for them to properly install the mattress which was no problem! Sleep number came back out and again they were not able to install the bed a second time for whatever reason. After waiting 2 months for a new mattress and two different delivery visits without an install we were a little frustrated. We were told it would be almost a month with the equipment sitting in our daughters bedroom and boxes stacked in our kitchen before they could complete the install. At that time, we decided we just wanted our money back. Upon calling them to schedule a pick up of the equipment we were told we would receive a full refund minus $3100 for a base of which was never taken out of the box. We were told it was in our contract which neither myself or my wife remembered. I think we would remember signing a contract at which point we would have to forfeit $3100 if we decided we did not like the product. After speaking to a manager we were able to get it resolved and we did not have to pay the $3100.

Now the good part, we decided to go over to Bed’r mattress and look around. We were greeted by Ethen who was very knowledgeable and was more interested in what we needed versus just trying to sell us something. The owner was extremely helpful and even came out to her home to measure our bed to make sure the mattress which we chose fit correctly as we have drawers under are bed. Within a two week period we had a brand new bed set up and ready to go. I do not know for the life of me why we did not go over to Bed’r Mattress to begin with! If you are looking for an adjustable bed and are willing to spend the money as they are quite expensive stay away from sleep number and give J a call. The customer service was great and service after the sell was even better!!...

If I could give this store 10 stars, I would. It is locally owned. No hype, no pushy salespeople. And they were very friendly and helpful. I told them the reasons why I was shopping for a new mattress and my needs, and they pointed out two mattresses that would be the best options. They explained why they were the best options and could answer all my questions. I have shopped around, and this store has the best prices and most value compared to the other stores in Valdosta. And they delivered the new mattress and box springs the next day for free (fortunately, they had the one I wanted in stock). They gave me a one-hour window of time when they would arrive, and they were right on time and finished setting up the new bed within a half hour. And they disposed of the old mattresses for us for no additional charge. They have a 90-day guarantee... if your new mattress isn’t a good fit for you, you can exchange it, and only pay the difference if you exchange for a more expensive mattress. But the mattress I got is perfect. It fits all my needs, thanks to the two gentlemen that helped me. I am really impressed. After suffering from rheumatoid arthritis for 30 years, I decided to invest in a good quality mattress to ease the pain on my aging joints. I went to Bed’r mattress having no clue what I needed or what would be a good fit for me. I was greeted by Jay, who took his time to explain the pros and cons of every type of mattress from the memory foam to the latex to the traditional spring mattresses. He explained the benefits of each one and then pointed out some of the problems I might have with my joints with each mattress. He took his time with me and I didn’t feel like he was rushing me. He explained everything in detail so I could make an educated decision based on my medical needs. I ended up leaving with a latex mattress and I couldn’t be happier. It was delivered with a week (and they even took my old mattress away for me!) and I have never slept better in my life. For the first time since I can remember, I am not waking up in the middle of the night in pain. Not only am I sleeping through the night, but I overslept 3 hours on my first night, lol.
