We stayed in the Deluxe Cabin for 4 nights, it was comfortable. The camp is clean and safe and even though it was near the end of the season there was a lot for us to do both at the camp and in the surrounding area. Such as - The Neil Armstrong Museum, Heritage Park (river walk, and our 6 month old Bernedoodle enjoyed a nice romp at the dog, the historical downtown) there are several parks around town with playgrounds as well. The campground also has a dog park both for big and small dogs. A playground and arcade for the big and little kids. ha ha We enjoyed our little get-away to the KOA at Wapakoneta. It was nice, relaxing and a fun way to spend our 34th wedding anniversary with just the 2 of us and our puppy. :) Kevin and Karen were so accommodating and helpful! Karen even mailed an item we left behind. Thank You! * sharing a picture of Bernie our puppy because this was "Bernie's Road Trip" and because he so adorable :)

Very nice but spot's are close. It's quite. For the most part. When out side you can still hear the Highway. But not that bad. I like the place very much. I will be back. I have a bunch of photos. And I love that they deliver food too your camper. And they have bathhouse. playground. 2 dog walks fenced in. Primitive camping. And fire rings for all camp sites. Besides the close quarters. I haven't seen any fishing places. On site they do have a pool. It's covered for now because it's cold. Their cabins are very nice.and the people are very nice and helpful. And they also have propane exchange and refill. They have a big building with picnic table and a pool table inside. But it's closed for the season. They make their rounds often to pick up garbage and recycling. their big on it. Thank God. More places should be like this. I love it and I will be back.

We had about 27 people for our family camping weekend staying in the cabins. I thought everything about the place was really nice. The cabins weren't the biggest but clean and big enough. Had it's own bathroom with good water pressure and hot water. The pool and all other amenities we're very nice. Kids loved the playground and running in the huge Field behind it. The have a building with a lot of picnic tables and pool table and ping pong as well. Basketball hoop, horseshoes, mini golf... They have about everything packed into the campground. They also have 2 dog runs and laundry. if you're staying in a camper or RV the sites do seem a little close together though. The fire pits for those sites are right beside the road which is a little awkward. That was not the case for the cabins though. They had a little more space.

Last minute change from Southern Indiana, moving our camping up North to escape the effects of the hurricane. Wow, what a disappointment! Where do I begin .. well for one, the sites are tiny with little or no room to even set out some chairs, unless you get one of the "back -in sites next to the field. We did like the wooden patios but wow so close to your neighbor. Best thing here is to hope you get a friendly neighbor (which we didn't). Tried and tried to get cable tv hooked up but had no luck (went for help but office closed at 6:00 P.M. ) We thought the idea of having lunch available at our site would be nice .. when we got there, was told all items with the exception of pizza were unavailable. Used the excuse that it was end of season but still we paid in-season price for our camp spot...figure that. Playground equipment was probably nice in its day, but is in dire need of some upkeep .. Miniature golf is a joke.. run down. Horseshoes looked like an option but soon found out there were no stakes in the pits, scratch the horseshoes I will say, the game room looks like they have added a couple new items .. new covering on the pool table and a new ping pong table. The kids liked the mining experience but come prepared to buy the bags for sifting (anywhere from $5 to $25/bag) Main showers and restrooms smelled terrible .. maybe a bad case of sewer gas .. better use your in-camper shower if you have one. (We did find the satellite bathrooms/showers nice but did not discover until our last day) What was most disappointing was that we saw no attempts at improving or maintaining anything. There were a couple of guys riding on golf carts mainly just picking up trash set out by campers. I am sure this campground was nice in its day but no more .....

Horrible customer service!! My wife and I had stopped in to check on availability for an upcoming holiday week. They did have 1 spot available and allowed us to drive around and check it out. The spot they had, like many, only had about 6 feet of space between one camper and the next. We went back into the office to tell them that we preferred a bigger spot and if they had any cancellations we would like to be put on the list. As we are leaving the owner stopped us. Asked If the lady inside had helped us and she was pretty new. We told her yes she had. What we had wanted but that we preferred a bigger spot and they just didn't have one. She she asked how big our rig was and I told her a 35 foot Class A. She told me that she can get 40 foot motorhomes in that spot, and it was a beautiful spot. We told her it was the side to side room that bothered us, not the length. She straight up rolled her eyes while I was talking and walked away. I was so shocked I just sat stunned for a second before loudly speaking my mind and driving away. We were literally about a minute from reserving a full week and boy am I glad we didn't. Never in ALL my years of camping have I been talked to and treated like that. She is clearly only interested in taking money and not about people getting out to enjoy camping and friends and family. I would rather park in a WalMart parking lot and camp for a week then give people like...

Beware if you rent a cabin at this site.

The property manager/owner, Ryan Moran has complete control over your units HVAC system with their mobile phones. Refused to set it lower than 73 degrees and when another cabin said theirs was unlocked, they locked theirs at 73 degrees too. In June, the cabins were not like this and the HVAC system was not locked.

We have stayed here multiple times, once being in June. We have a lot of children who stay with us, and during this trip, one child went to buy candy. They refused to give him change and accused him of stealing candy during our June visit, we are all unaware of this happening, and expressed our feelings of this action not being addressed to us in June, and instead in October? How did they even remember? And why did they not charge the account on file?

After attempting to address some concerns with the campground via review emails we received text messages to our personal phones informing us to never come back. The owner of the property (Ryan Moran) threatened our family's safety after we made a phone call to them, I will not get into details, but it was unsettling to say the least. He also claimed he should've set the thermostat to 40 degrees and frozen our family.

We love to have our family reunions here, but we will no longer be visiting this site as they have threatened our family for expressing concerns about...
