Bob Evans — Restaurant in Wapakoneta

My family meet at the Wapakoneta restaurant today. We each drove an hour to meet for a nice meal and visit. Right from the start we had to tell the hostess 4 TIMES how many were in our party, 4 adults and 2 kids needing high chairs or 1 booster and 1 high chair. We finally were seated in the back corner at a table that was sticky, not clean at all. The floor was full of food and dropped silverware. It was never cleaned. The waitress came and took our drink order. She brought our drinks, as my daughter is passing the hot coffee cup to the end of the table away from the babies ages 1 & 2 the waitress sets an ice tea on the corner of the table by the 1 year old and behind our daughters arm while she is still passing the hot coffee. So, what happens the ice tea is knocked off the table all into the diaper bag. Soaked everything in the diaper and the diaper bag. The babies hat, which she needed to wear since it was under 30 degrees and windy but because it was still wet when we left she couldn't wear. The waitress did bring a towel but that was it. No apologies, No manager, just the waitress coming back wanting us to place our order in hurry while we are still trying to clean up a mess that never should have happened. The waitress NEVER should have set the tea on the corner of the table, behind someone's arm while they are passing a hot drink, and right beside a baby.

This is the 3rd time we have had this type of experience at this restaurant. We have tried to be patient with them but the experience today was the last straw. It has not gotten better and today's experience was worse yet. Today is the last day that we will be dining at the Wapakoneta restaurant.

Friday May 27 -Large order of 9 meals The food was not ready at agreed time of pick up and the order was given two hours in advance. The order was missing syrup, a side of bacon, and appropriate functioning cutlery. The lettuce in the salads was brown and some of our food was cold. When I called to make the order I asked if the staff at the time could handle the large order or if they would rather we order somewhere else. I inquired as to their staffing because it seemed the manager was unaware of how the online ordering works for his location. I tried to place the order online and had issues and then when I asked him he had no idea what I was talking about. When I arrived on time to pick up the food they were not ready. The food was ready 10 minutes after the agreed pick up time. The dining room was empty, the lobby was full of people waiting to be seated, the hostess was behind the counter texting, the waitresses were also texting behind the counter while the food in the window piled up. The manager did nothing to step up and help the people needing to be waiting on and the entire operation seemed to be failing. This was not a good day for Bob Evans in Wapakoneta. It is questionable if we should order...

They just can't seem to get it right anymore..used to be a great place to dine....waitress asked if we wanted our hash browns loaded. We said sure....asked for over easy eggs. What we got was hash browns not loaded and maybe 2 teaspoons worth..said. Aren't they supposed to be loaded...oh yes. Comes back with 2 pcs of scallions and maybe a pinch of cheese and a thimble worth of sour cream....to boot. Eggs were hockey pucks and the sausage and bacon were both burned...I also upon ordering asked for a to go order as well...once they dropped off the food waitress disappeared no where to be found. My friend ate her food as I didn't not keen on food over cooked....when we do ally got the waitress after I got up and asked for her she brought us the bill and of course disappeared again. My to go order never got put in...so when we were ready to leave I asked about it and. Waitress told another just put it in now and do t charge for it. That is not the answer. I am not out to get a free meal I would just like to go in there and have a meal done right. Like it used to be....seems like they have lost...
