Super 8 by Wyndham Wapakoneta — Hotel in Wapakoneta

So heres the thing. It is not a terrible place for a night or couple nights, but I do feel like they are a bit misleading or at least they are now.

They have made attempts to make some updates so I'll give them that.

The room I stayed in wasnt terrible. Nothing was broken. The walls are the very definition of thin though. I could here a guy coughing next door on my second night and it wasnt like he was hacking up a lung just a regular cough. The guy definitely heard me when I died playing a game 😬😆. Internet is okay for the most part. Went out randomly a couple times and you'll have to go through the reconnection process probably every 10-12 hrs it seemed.

They don't do a breakfast though so keep that in mind. I figured based on looking around the lobby they probably didn't and based on reviews people said when they did do breakfast it wasn't great. I brought things for breakfast based on others reviews. On my last day I went to check out in the morning around 0630 and the door for the lobby was locked and definitely no signs of any breakfast or coffee. I went to the next door which is the night office and basically just left my key on the counter since no one was there and went to work.

Overall it wasnt the worst place room wise. Has food places within walking distance and a bowling ally I think right next door ( didnt get a chance to check it out though). I would stay here again if I needed to, but it wouldn't necessarily be my...

had to make an emergency trip to MI we got very tired and decided to stop overnight. This Super 8 seemed reasonable enough for a quick overnight stay. The owner, I assume, was at the front desk to check us in. He was very friendly. We got a room with a king size bed and the room was on the backside which we did like. The room however was a different story! As soon as we opened the door it really smelled and not a good one! The bathroom was not clean!!!!!! once we got ready for bed I noticed the bedspread! it had white stains all over it!!!!! and it was n't paint either!!! so yes exactly what you are thinking is what it was!!!!!! The bed and pillows were sooooooo uncomfortable that our backs and necks hurt just as soon as we woke up from a very unsettled night!! There was not breakfast of anything!! including coffee!!! We felt very nasty after leaving!!!! I wanted to ask for a refund but my husband said let's just go. BUT you can bet your bottom dollar we will not be returning!!!!! 10/10 This place is a great passing through spot. The rooms are super clean, 3 pillows to a Queen bed. Little to no cosmetic damage, fridge and microwave, tv is medium. There is plenty of extra parking for tractor trailer trucks, buses or RVs. The walkability is nuts. Walmart, food and other commerce is close by and there is a cool aerospace museum across the street. The shower is perfect, pressure and temp. And the grounds are blissfully quiet. The front desk staff have always been welcoming, approachable and ready to help us with anything at all.
