Waffle House — Restaurant in Wapakoneta

The older gentleman that was cooking we watched him not one time but four different times while cooking pull out his phone and proceeded to take phone calls and scroll threw his phone on the line NEVER CHANGED HIS GLOVES as he digs in his pockets multiple times to retrieve his phone! Also while on the phone he has the phone on his shoulder between his head and shoulder grabbing raw meat out of the cooler and putting it on the grill while still holding the phone!! My server was amazing (Britt)but after waiting to pay my bill I seen this and instantly regretted my choice to come here this is not okay and something needs to be done about these multiple health...

From the hello when I walked in to the time I said good bye was excellent. Clean, professional and food was cooked as ordered. The entire staff on duty were professional and interactive with all customers. Even the cook Addy along with the servers check on quality of the food was satisfying. All 3 worked together as a team with all patrons. A great uplifting experience ! Just what I needed after a long day ! My biscuits tasted stale. The reason for the one star is the fact we could see fly tape hanging behind the door less than 5 feet away from us. Immediately grossed out, as it had dozens of dead insects on it. We mentioned to our waitress they might want to change it. The entire time we discussed this problem the manager was making herself a salad, ignoring the resolution requested. Our bills combined were were almost $30 and we left half our food behind. I'm glad this is not my first experience with waffle house, I would definitely never eat there again during the midnight shift.
