This was a horrible stay. I paid for a king room and when I got there they didn’t have any available and put me in a double queen… then they said “if the room is still dirty when you get in there, just leave your bags in there and let us know and we will clean it.” That is the most peculiar thing I have ever heard of from a hotel. We got to our room and the beds were made, and looked like housekeeping had been through…. But the sheets had stains all over them and DOG HAIR all over. I took photos. I did see two different dogs behind the front desk while I was there. The hallway carpets were filthy and covered in debris the whole time we were there. And there is a sign on the 2nd floor that says “ice and vending” is downstairs…. But there is no vending…. And the front desk doesn’t sell snacks or drinks anymore because “people kept stealing them.” And the area is sketchy…. Also, the extra door lock was broken.

Unfortunately it was a terrible experience, we stay in lots of Quality inn's across the west and have never experienced anything like this, so we have to assume it falls on the ownership of this individual property. A failing apart facility, dirty from the loby to the room, full and empty boxes in the hallway, and an uncleaned room. The bed had been made, but sheets and pillow cases had not been washed. Upon closer inspection of the sheets bedbugs (see pictures) were obviously present. We had booked through Expedia, so we contacted them for a refund, and the property owner refused. If there was a way to leave a minus star i would have done that, as you have to check at least one to leave a review we will attribute it the the dog at the check in desk.

Stayed here one night. The whole place smelled like vomit, and it’s definitely really old. I didn’t have a choice so I spent the night. There was black mold in the shower as well as the towels in the bathroom because the exhaust fan didn’t work. The last guest also smashed a banana on the inside of the door and it looked like it had been there for weeks. The staff was very friendly and accommodating

We did not stay here. So this review is based on my brief experience contacting the hotel directly, several guest reviews, and the hotel manager's insufficient response. Our reason for staying there would have been vacation, but based on what I learned, we will not be doing this. Too bad because it is a convenient location. My experience was regarding me trying to be on the telephone with reception. I knew this hotel as a Day's Inn. It has been sold to Quality Inn, making reviews more important than ever. Management always makes or breaks a hotel, and while that is true everywhere, in the case of QI, it is especially important, as all Quality Inns are not the same. A female voice answered the phone and put me on hold before even asking what I wanted. That's already a red flag, because there ought to be enough help to take more than one call at a time. if the front desk is understaffed, chances are good the entire hotel will be. While I sat on hold, I used my time to read guest reviews. The hotel's own page says only 50% of guests wrote positive reviews; another red flag. The most recent review from just several days ago, was quite negative, stating lack of security, as in doors being propped open with rocks. (This is important as the hotel is located on a busy Interstate exchange), And that the entire hotel stunk, And that the guest from this review awoke covered in bedbug bites. They would certainly know this. So I read some other reviews, and it appears that this hotel is another hit or miss situation. Without reading any further, the bedbug report changed my mind about staying there. The management replied to this review and another, stating the she had forwarded the security issues to the maintenance dept. The smell is unavoidable, she said, due to the location being located in a rural area where the smell of cattle is not an issue they can control. But again, it was the bedbug issue that caused me to break the telephone hold. Being on hold this length of time allowed me to educate myself more completely about this hotel. The management denied the bedbug problem, saying the guest did not report this directly to them, and suggested that the guest brought the bedbugs with them, since the hotel is treated weekly for this problem, so it couldn't have happened. The hotel is large; even if it was treated a week ago, the problem could arise between treatments. Denial of a guest's complaints is not a good business practice. I have had previous bad experiences with QI hotels and especially the staff, and one was full of other bugs. Even I though I reported the bug problem to the front desk before checking out, I was just given another excuse. Based on all of this I don't dare chance a stay there. The guests reviews outweigh the management's denial, so I posted this review based on these experiences as a heads up, to...

My friend and our children stayed at the hotel from 7/25 - 7/27 where we attended CFD in Cheyenne, WY. On 8/1/25 I contacted the hotel and spoke with Danielle because when I made the reservations through Booking.com the price I was quoted to pay was $310.00 for the 2 nights. After reviewing my bank statement I was charged $310.00 and then $250.00. When I spoke with Danielle she could not tell me why I was being charged amounts that did not even match what I was to be charged. Danielle could not tell me what the additional $250.00 charge was for- originally she stated that "you did not even stay here it looks like you cancelled your room" and I had to explain to her that we did stay there and what room we stayed in. She then stated she was not sure what was going on but she would get a hold of the manager (she was out) and they would call me back in 30-45 min. I never heard back from anyone.

8/2/25 I called the hotel once again to speak with the manager and spoke again with Danielle and explained what the situation was and she took my information and said she would have Jenn call me back the following day since she was out (this would have been Sunday). I never heard back from anyone .

8/5/25 I called the hotel and spoke with Danielle and she stated that Jenn was out for a bit and would call back. Jenn called back and left a message so I returned her phone call. She explained to me that I was charged $250.00 because they felt that we had smoked in the room and this was discovered by housekeeping and I guess verified by the front desk- news to me since not one of us smokes! From what was explained to me, if we would have gone back to the front desk to let them know that our room smelled like smoke then it would not have been an issue. If I was a smoker and knew that I had done this at the hotel I would not be fighting a $250.00 charge but I am not and this is not acceptable. Where our room was located there were several people smoking right outside the exit door of the hotel by our room- but it was not us.

I have never been treated the way the staff has treated me during this whole issue- customer service is not acceptable - no follow through. I asked why I had not been contacted after all of the messages that I have left and Jenn's comment was " I call back on messages that I get when she originally stated that she had talked to me previously and we had never spoken about this issue until today. After reading the most recent reviews that patrons have left in the last month regarding their issues like: incorrect charges, rooms that are not cleaned or wallpaper falling down and dog feces in the doorway there are a lot of things that need...

Traveling for business through the state of Colorado; I sleep odd times. At 10:52 AM there was loud knocking. My six year old started freaking out due to us just waking up. Upon opening the door, I am greeted with an irate cleaner yelling at my son and I to get out it is check out time. I was a little confused. I apologized along with notifying the cleaner that I forgot to set an alarm when we arrived at 5:00am. I asked for 10 minutes to take a shower. The cleaner yelled no, and I need to get out because it is past check out time. Being 10:56 by now. My son started crying and I then got upset asking the cleaner to leave my room. She refused and then did walk away. I took my son outside to the vehicle and the manager Jen met my son and I at the side exit door. Jen stopped me not letting me pass yelling at me to not speak to her staff that way. I said excuse me? Your staff is out of line and irate; now I am being gas lit which is illegal. Also, I was narcissistically attacked. I grabbed my stuff not taking a shower with my son crying and now myself. Jen had 8 employees in the laundry room talking about me. Now that is disorderly conduct along with defamation of character. I obtain an Associate degree in Health Management which having many management classes; this location needs help. My husband and I own a courier service, sell natural organic candles/lotion with farmers markets, and own a cleaning business which has 30 AirBNB/VRBO homes around the state. I have told so many people in a week about this and to stay away from Jen who has THE POWER to put us on the list to not rent. Thank you choice hotels for putting this member in a 5 star hotel for 2 days because of Jen and her actions. Even if I could stay here I will never again. If it lasts a year for the list or hiring a better manager I will stay anywhere else for next year's farmers markets. Again, thank you choice for putting us up in Cambria Fort Collins which is very beautiful which is 20 more minutes so make the drive. Cambria...
