There is LITERALLY no one here who can give you a haircut. I’ve had a total of 5 cuts/trims here - from Heather and Ashley. Never a great cut, but getting progressively better. My last cut I ended up with 3/4” - 1” longer hair on one side of my head. Not wonderful, especially for a short cut - but the best I had gotten there. So Heather and Ashley went elsewhere to work. I had an appointment set for yesterday - but Amber and Alex (both unknown to me) changed it - 3 times. Alex was the last person I communicated with. She told me she was an “apprentice”. Which I learned meant that she does nails and was practicing on clients in order to learn how to cut hair. When I arrived and saw that she was actually a nail tech, I told her I wasn’t comfortable. I have a job interview next Tuesday - I needed a decent haircut. My hair is very thick, and I wear a short precision cut but a somewhat “messy” style. I explained that I needed my hair textured and point cut. Alex asked me if clippers would work. No. I restated that I needed my hair point cut. With scissors. Apprentice Alex brought in Amber, who began explaining how my hair should be cut. Amber immediately noticed and remarked on the fact that my hair was fully 1” longer on the right side of my head. Alex left the room with Amber and came back to tell me she wasn’t “comfortable” cutting my hair. So they had wasted my time after rescheduling me 3 times. Not happily, I left. 3 minutes later I received a call from the owner, Lisa, who apologized profusely, explained Amber was the only competent stylist, and promised to try to get me in with Amber on Monday - saying she would call me back in a half hour. This was Thursday. An hour-and-a-half later, Lisa called me back. Amber couldn’t squeeze me in - she was too booked. However, because my hair is very thick, Amber had suggested I just go to a barbershop. No, really. My hair is not cut in a masculine style - I’m not joining the military. I needed a STYLIST to cut my hair - not a barber. So … enter at your own risk. But be prepared to have a nail tech cut your hair for practice - or have the only competent, but understandably busy, stylist suggest a good...
Read moreLove love love this place! Everything a big city salon has to offer but BETTER because of the people and small town boutique environment. This place has the one thing big cities lack, which is that personal family touch. Yet it has all the services you expect from a big city salon AND MORE! Amber Harris is absolutely amazing! She knows more of what I want than I do, but if you are someone who knows exactly what you want, she listens and implements to a T. A perfect mix of professionalism, friendliness and talent all wrapped up in an inviting and comfortable environment. Amber is also great with my granddaughter who does NOT sit still well, but somehow for Amber she does and the patience she has with her is top notch! Do yourself a favor and come see what you have been missing while getting your services done. I did, and I’m NEVER going back! Fantastic service and really...
Read moreThis place is amazing. Beautiful property and trees, and people. As a newly single Dad, wasn't sure where to take my daughter for a Haircut. Used to live in Fort Collins, and always went somewhere there, but so glad we found this place in Wellington. Booking online was easy, and several messages for reminders and confirmation was nice. We had an appointment with Abby, and my daughter couldn't be happier with the haircut she received! I waited outside on the bench, on the beautiful property, and was offered an adult beverage. I assume it may have been the owner, and was blown away by the generosity. She mentioned they have live events, and host farmer's markets on Sundays. We will definitely be back for events, and now my daughters go to place for anything salon stuff related! Great experience, and...
