Heard great things about this place, so we wanted to check it out on our date night. Host was super nice and they were a about 2/3 full. Sat on the patio and checked out the menu. Looked good. Never got to find out though because we didn't get greeted by a server so we headed out. Sad, really wanted to try the place I heard such great things about. EDIT... We gave it another try and were thrilled. Sat at the bar, had great service and the meal was amazing. So glad we tried again! August 2022 edit.... So, it was great while it lasted....but it's over now.. Since the new kitchen manager took place, we have had issue after issue. First. .we come in and order the nachos, which we have always loved, but they changed the queso and added a new sauce. No big deal, we try it. Sauces are good but I asked for a side of sour cream, which I would have paid for, and the kitchen flatly refused to ALLOW me the sour cream. WOW, no words for that one. Then, last week, we order take-out. I always get the same thing, New York strip with mushrooms and onions and veg and salad. We get it home and the "medium rare" steak is burnt to a crisp in the bottom and tastes like a house fire. The veg is so inundated with garlic, I taste nothing else, and I LOVE garlic. The spin dip was cold and the cheese wasn't melted. Finally last night was the final straw. Our orders were not completely correct, but our server was amazing, as always. She fixed what she could but he didn't even want his. So as we are paying, the bartender/manager (curly brown hair) gets involved but she literally keeps repeating the same thing and every time I try to speak, she cuts me off and talks over me. I finally give up and tell her since she can't let me speak, I am leaving and waiting outside for my husband . She responded, as rudely as she could, Okay, have a great night!" Trish and Val and the hosts there are amazing, hard working and personable. We love them, which is why we kept coming back. However, this absolute lack of respect for customers or even care for food is the last straw. Management doesn't care and are horribly rude. This was our favorite spot, but we are done. I couldn't even believe how rude and disrespectful the bartender was. That was bad business, we'll take our money somewhere where the business...
Read moreFinally gave up on this place. I've been here a good ten times since I moved to Wellington, and I can't say I've had "good" food any of those times. They've messed up roughly a third of my orders, so if you get food to go I suggest checking your order before leaving. Technically they didn't "mess up" my order this last time, but I was so disappointed that I decided I'm not going back. I ordered the hot roast beef sandwich (which the menu states comes with beef, potatoes, and gravy) and onion rings as my side. I picked up my order, and when I got home got ready to eat what sounded like a delicious meal- beef, mashed taters and gravy on a sandwich sounded like a great idea! When I opened up the box there was two pieces of bread cut in half diagonally, a very small amount of tiny crumbly dry beef, a to go cup of "gravy" (I expected thick gravy, not watery beef broth) , and a bunch of very overdone onion rings. Where were the mashed potatoes ? Why were the tiny beef crumbles strewn all over the container? This did not meet my definition of sandwich. I called, and after waiting on hold (they weren't busy at all when I went in either ) I explained to them why I was calling, and the lady in the phone told me that I had subbed the mashed potatoes for onion rings. So why are the mashed potatoes listed as part of the sandwich instead of being omitted to keep their place next to the other sides above the sandwich section ? She couldn't give me a good answer. Regardless, if I pay $14 for a sandwich I expect there to be more than a quarter pound of meat on it, especially if thats literally the only thing on the bread .and I prefer it to not be tiny dry crumbles either. My iron gut also has had pretty bad indigestion from their food (as well as my friend who got a burger), and the wrap I got another time was almost all shredded lettuce, what a ripoff. Unfortunately there's not many options for food in town, if a decent restaurant for burgers and sandwiches and such opened I'm sure the grill would take a huge hit. I'll be keeping to the Mexican restaurant from now on if...

I went here as a Grubhub delivery driver, and the experience was very frustrating. The worker was extremely rude to me when all I needed was the delivery code to complete my order. My job sometimes requires this code, and if I don’t get it right away, I have to sit there for three minutes until the system counts down. Some people may not think three minutes is much, but when you’re delivering food and working on a schedule, three minutes can make or break your next delivery.
On top of that, I deliver mainly in Fort Collins, so when I have to drive all the way to Wellington for an order, it already takes extra time. Then, most of the time, I have to head right back to Fort Collins for my next one. Time really matters in this job, and I would expect a restaurant to understand that.
If I ever have to deliver here again and they don’t provide the code, I will simply wait until the timer counts down before handing over the food, because I refuse to risk getting fired for doing my job incorrectly.
And honestly, the way the worker spoke to me was unacceptable—if I were the owner, I would have fired her on the spot. I’ve never eaten here, and after this experience, I don’t plan to. Customer service matters, and if you don’t want to deal with people respectfully, hospitality is not the right...
