I have been a regular to this restaurant for years. I had even worked here many years ago and love the place during and after my days of employment. Old owners and new we continued to be regulars. I can now say y'all have lost me as a customer. I have never had a waitress repeat an order back to me three times and still mess it up. And after a 45 min wait even the parts she brought were incomplete! She had plenty of time to chat with other tables but couldn't bother checking on us once! I'm ashamed to share the same name! We were weged in a corner and absolutely ignored. The worst service I have ever received. Honestly the dmv will be more attentive. The constant scream from the kitchen was terrible on top of that. Also for a 5$ kids meal taco it is literally ground beef on a burnt tortilla, no cheese, no tomato, lettuce....nope just ground beef 🤢

Went to T Bar to see Cowtown play and have dinner. The T Burger was excellent. It came with out any dressing or mayo, and it DIDN'T need any. It was Delicious! My wife had the Reuben sandwich and her review of it contained nothing but praise. She especially liked the fact that the dressing came on the side so she could put the amount she desired on it. The staff was the most friendliest of any restaurant we've visited in Wellington. Cowtown played EXCELLENT music without missing a beat. This place has now become a favorite of ours for a Good Ole' Country dinner night out. Thanks for the GREAT service, food, and especially the entertainment!!!

Great stop here and the food was delicious. We arrived just before the dinner hour of 4 and was allowed for one of us to order the chicken fried steak. The onion rings were delicious. Seasoned fries too. Tonya was a wonderful server! Great personality. The one star is taking away because on arrival when opening the door someone was rudely yelling at another employee. After figuring out this person is Carla owner/manager her choices of discipling employees loudly while customers are waiting could use some manners.

Not bad for breakfast; not recommended for dinner

This is one of the few restaurants in downtown Wellington. Acknowledging the slim offerings, this has become a go-to spot for breakfast Breakfast dishes are consistent and flavorful, at reasonable prices. You can’t miss with their omelettes, and hubby likes their steak & eggs and biscuits & gravy. Seats are usually available for breakfast service but you might have a short wait on the weekends.

It’s definitely an old diner style establishment, inside and out. Efficient waitresses hurrying by. Local flyers on the walls, tables with slightly different heights that can be easily moved to accommodate parties of different sizes, prepackaged napkin & utensil sets, condiments on the table.

If this was a review of only breakfast, this would be a solid 4 star. However we decided to try it for dinner to get out of our rut (Sol de Jalisco and Wellington Grill are our go-to dinner picks nearby). Dinner here was not a great experience.

It’s dead in the evening. So empty, we thought it was closed. Our party of five were the only diners, although there were a few patrons at the bar. The dinner menu had lots of kid favorites (hamburger, grilled cheese, etc) but was limited for adults. The nachos were fine (not great). The mashed potatoes in my turkey dish tasted sour… especially disappointing because I ordered a salad, not potatoes. They could not complete my husbands order straight from the menu as they did not have the listed gravy, so they asked him to make substitutions. Dinner service was surprisingly terrible for a restaurant with no other customers. We had to ask repeatedly for: water, salad dressing, side salad, kid cups, tea bags (hot tea ordered, but hot water served). At one point hubby flagged down a server to ask “does this come with a salad” to which the employee replied “you’ll have to ask you waitress. I’m the hostess.” Then she left, without asking our waitress to come by or checking back with us. Then we tracked down our waitress who seemed annoyed, but she brought my husband’s dinner salad as a dessert course. Rating for dinner service: a generous 2 star.

Our dinner experience was with our son’s family of 5, so it was enjoyable to visit with family, and the kids ate reasonably well. Sharing a bad dinner experience with them wasn’t awful — we absolutely loved the conversation, the family bonding, and the collective decision that we should never come here for...

I was attracted to the name "Avuncular" and even more so after reading their broader application of the definition, “honorary” family members; the mentors who go the extra mile to encourage and inspire; the jovial neighbors who always wave back." SADLY, I did not find "Bob". The waitress this morning was great (5 stars for her) but the omelet was DRY and tasteless and I was about to take MY LAST BITE AND REALIZED THE PLATE HAD NOT BEEN WASHED! YUCK! BLACK STICKY STUFF AROUND EDGE OF PLATE! CAKED ON YUCK! The waitress discounted my meal but I will not return to Wellington! The coffee typical of a small diner. Nothing to shout about...THEN I decided to look around town and to Owl Canyon Coffee (see review there) Initially, I was thinking of the possibility of living in Wellington, a small town atmosphere but seee Owl's review!

The other reviews, well they must have been...
