Last week Saturday 4/6 10:06a I go in to purchase a non pork breakfast souffle. I'm told there is 1 artichoke and spinach left. Great! I get to work and 3 hours into my shift I go to eat my spinach and artichoke souffle and it's a huge piece of BACON on top of it. I'm fuming!!! Cause 1. I don't eat pork and specifically asked for a Spinach and Artichoke souffle 2. The service wasn't good, my cashier was courteous but the manager was rude as I asked her before waiting in line were there anymore Artichoke Souffles? She answered as if I was bothering her, hell there was no one else to ask as the cashiers weren't at the register at the time I walked in. So I ended up having to return what I did not order Sunday morning. Today 4/13 I go in the Southgate Panera again, this time at 10:28a to get a Souffle, Spinach and Artichoke of course. I have enough sense not to ask the same manager on duty from last week. So I ask another lady, she tells me 10 mins some are coming out. So I go to the kiosk to order and it's says SOLD OUT on the kiosk, so I wait in line. I'm literally in line for 10 mins with 1 person in front of me and 2 cashiers. 1 of the cashiers is assisting her guest and the other has gone to refill the coffee milk, cream etc. While I'm STANDING THERE!!! The rude manager from last week literally begs her to let the dining room staff handle that. The manager goes on to explain to the cashier that she has 3 people in the dining room and needs the cashier at her register (like she is supposed to be). I say beg cause she said "please" to this girl over 3 times and as she was saying this, the girl still! didn't come to her register and do the job she was assigned until after the manager had thoroughly pleaded her case. I finally get to the register and the other cashier services me and I order....NOW there are no cheese, nor spinach and artichoke left!!! As I am waiting to be serviced several people had (prior) ordered 3, and 4 souffles a piece. IF YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE 16 TOTAL OF ALL FLAVORS AND ALLOW PEOPLE TO PURCHASE 3+ PER ORDER. WHY NOT MAKE MORE???!!!! and on top of that your service sucks!!! I walked out of this place with NOTHING at 10:30!
Literally this is the worst Panera I have been to, out of ALL the states I have lived in or visited. Never Again will I patronize them, and NO! they weren't busy. I was the second person in line during this whole fiasco and no one besides the pre-ordered souffle individuals (2 that I saw)...

Moving forward this same fingerwave wearing woman took it a step further by making everyone else’s order after me and served them after another additional 15 minutes of waiting and at this point new customers come in I look on the board and see that my order was supposed to been made and on the counter and ready and was not once I asked management about my order is when she rushes it out and rushes away as though I did something to her and her professionalism as a service worker is in question regarding a customer and to add insult you blatantly refused service on me without cause as it was my first time ever entering that establishment and placing a order it’s sad how our own African American culture treats one another your job is to service not look for a date or potential spousal partner people like her who disrespects a person indirectly or passively aggressively should not work for the public you look nice but your attitude towards a black African American college educated black man who lgbtq just showed how awful a person you are towards people you feel don’t meet your standards it is a insecurity of yours not mines and it’s narcissistic in nature as I wasn’t checking for you but my food management should discuss the importance of what true customer service is as your not the one I came for but the business product and service girl grow up seriously and I definitely...
Read moreWe ordered Panera Boxed Lunch Catering services online a week prior our corporate event. We received a confirmation from Panera that our order was received and Panera confirmed the date, time and location of our food order. The day of our corporate event, we did not receive any communication at all from the cafe staff or Door Dash Delivery. Our food delivery window was 11:45am to 12:00pm. We began calling the cafe at 11:50 to confirm delivery. It took us over 30 minutes to get a hold of any cafe staff, and the only update we received when we got a hold of the staff was the Door Dash confirmed our food was delivered. We provided specific instructions in our order about where to deliver the food and how to check in with building security when the food arrived. The cafe staff did try to contact Door Dash and get updates for us. The only update they provided was, again, that Door Dash already delivered the food. We never received our food and had to cancel the catering and request a refund. We were told a refund would take up to 10 days to process. We also had to cancel our catering order for the following day. This was really was poor customer service and worse follow-up service once we alerted the cafe that we never received our order. No staff ever offered to replace the food order or do anything to rectify the delivery failure. We still don't know where our food was delivered or if Door Dash driver just stole the food. I will never use Panera Catering again for any corporate event. Panera's poor customer service ultimately led to the perception of poor customer service on my part for my corporate event...
